The Dog That Brought Them Together

Jessies POV-
The doorbell rang, nobody ever rang the doorbell around here.. I stood up and went to answer it. A nice looking older couple stood at the doorway.
"Hello." I said.
"Hello. Um, Are you Jeremy's girlfriend?" The man asked.
"No sir." I said. "We're just friends."
"Oh, Well, Were his parents." The woman said.
"Oh, Well, I'm Jessie, His roommate. Um, Come in." I offered. They stepped in.

Pepper greeted them with an excited bark.
"Did he get a new dog?" The woman asked.
"Oh, She's mine." I said.

"Who rang?" Jeremy asked from the hall, He arrived in only a towel.
"Jeremy! We taught you better! There is a woman in the house now, You can't just walk around naked!" His mom said loudly.
"Sorry, Mom." He blushed, and looked down, as if he was a 6 year old getting punished for breaking a window.

"You should be apologizing to Jessie!" She said.
"Sorry Jess." He stated.
"Its fine.." I said.
"Nice to see you too." Jeremy said lowly, walking off.
"What did he say?" The man asked.
"Nothing!" Jeremy shouted.

He returned a couple minutes later, and took a seat beside me on the floor.
"So, What brings you guys here." He asked.
"Are we not welcome?" His dad joked.
"Anytime." He said, pulling Zenki into his lap.
"We're here because we heard about the break in." His mom said.
"Oh, Well, We have an idea of who did it, but there testing finger prints now." Jeremy explained.
"Okay, good. Have you fixed the window?" His dad asked.
"There's still a tarp over it." He said, with a slight smile.
"The guy said he'd come fix it tomorrow." I put it. Jeremy nodded.

His mom and dad left, and we piled on the couch with Zenki and Pepper.
"Sorry about that." He said, Flipping through channels.
"What?" I looked over.
"The whole towel thing." He said.
"Whatever. Your mom only made it worse by pointing it out." I said, giggling.
"Yeah, There's my mom for ya." He laughed.
We watched some random movie we'd never heard of, It was hilarious.

~Add two hours.~
"I haven't laughed that hard in a while!" He said, still laughing.
"Me either!" I giggled. We took a minute to calm down.
"Okay, It's only noon, where do you wanna go?" He asked.
"Dunno." I said.
"I was hoping you'd say that. Go put on your bathing suit." He hopped up, and ran to his bedroom. I slipped into the bathroom.

We met up, him in blue trunks and a white shirt, me in a highlight orange shirt and jean shorts overtop a black bikini. He shoved me out the door.
"Where to?" I asked.
"Kevin's." He said.
"We gotta break in?" I joked.
"Nah." He replied.

We got there, and I noticed a couple cars parked out front. I immediately recognized one as Neil's white pickup.
Me and Jeremy piled out, and Jeremy busted through Kevin's door. Josh, Alex and Neil were sitting around on the couch.
"Yo." Alex said.
"Sup." Josh said, or more like screamed.
"Hey Jess, Yo Jer." Neil said.
"Hey." Kevin said, coming down the stairs.
"Hey." Me and Jeremy said in unison.

"Haven't seen you two in a while. Where ya been! Oh wait, i could guess." Josh said, winking.
"Shut up." Jeremy said, pouting.
"Its true." Josh said.
"S'not funny." Jeremy said, crossing his arms. I couldn't help but laugh at the sight.

Neils POV-
"Alright, Screw this, I'm swimmin!" i said, standing up and heading out. I heard Jessie and Jeremy behind me.
I got out there, and turned around, It was just Jessie.

She took her shirt by the tail, and lifted it about her head, revealing her perfect stomach, her beauti-
Stop Neil. I shook my head clear.
She pushed her pants down, and threw them at me.
"What was that for!" I asked.
"Staring." She said, rolling her eyes, as she approced the pool.
"I wasn't staring!" I defended.
"Yeah you were." She said.
"Whatever." I replied, blushing that she'd caught me.
"Your turn." She said, In a joking voice.
"Yeah, M'kay." I said.

Jessies POV-
I watched Neil, as he tugged his shirt over his head, showing his entire chest and stomach regionI forced myself to look away, as I cannonballed into the pool. I held my breath for pretty long, just sitting at the bottom in a ball.

I felt something touch me, I felt strong arms wrap around me. I was tugged to the surface.
"I know you weren't drowning, but, Don't do that." Neil said.
"Fine." I said.
"Move!" Josh said, pushing Neil away from me. Josh hugged me.
"Um.. Hi." I said, treading to stay above water.
"Hey." He said. "It was a dare. Had to go along." He whispered.

I heard 3 splashes behind me, i turned to see Jeremy making it to the surface, Alex at the bottom, pushing up, and Kevin halfway up.
Josh backed away from me and started playing water tag with Alex and Kevin. Me, Neil, And Jeremy had a splash fight.

"Damnit Jessie!" Neil said, shaking water out of his ear.
"Teehee." I said, just as i got a huge wave from Jeremy.
"That's what you get!" Neil said. I splashed some water into the same ear.
"Damnit!" he screeched.
