P.S I Don't Love You

Beauty in new found places

"Hey Alex, did you take a look at your dearest lady friend today?" Jason Boilem asked Alex that day at school as he was putting books into his locker.

"Mmmm.. no why? Wait are you talking about Sarah?" Alex asked and shut his locker door.

"No man, Emily ..... Uh.. Potman?-"

"Portman, not Potman ..." Alex corrected him with a eye roll. "Anyway, what about Emily?"

"Dude, you are one lucky guy. All I have to say about that,"

"Why?" Alex asked again, with a sigh.

"Dude, look that way." Jason said, pointing and looking behind him.

Alex turned then, and saw her. At first Alex couldn't believe his own very two eyes. He couldn't help looking at every inch of her.. She looked so different but in a good way. He had to admit, she did look good, very good, but he wondered what had happen.

"Hey douche your eyes and tounge are hanging out," Sarah said from behind him and she rested her chin on his shoulder and smiled at Emily as she was putting her bag into her own locker down the hall.

"Wha...What happend? I mean she looks .... nice-"

"Hot," Sarah said and Alex only nodded. "Well looks like she needed a change.. Most people do you know Al..."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Alex asked as he turned toward her, but she had already left and was into the crowd.

Alex made his way toward Emily, trying to come up with a topic to talk about but he came up with nothing. He then saw some guy looking at her, and she had glanced at the guy, then looked back into her locker.

Alex wasn't exactly sure why, but he felt some sort of jealousy in him. He had always liked her, a bit more than a friend, but wasn't sure on how to approach her about his own feelings. And then there was her own sister... She had come onto him and he did nothing but turn the other way, which was where Emily was.

Emily.

He cared for her, admired her, and even maybe loved her, yet he could do nothing about it without ruining their friendship and he would hate to put her on the spot like that, to choose friend or enemy... Well friend or Lover really....

"Hey..... What's up?" Alex asked as she remained fixing something on her bracelet.

"Hey. Nothing really ... You?" Emily asked and she looked up at him.

Her eyes. That was what he noticed first. They looked... Sparkly kinda like glitter or something.. But they were shining up at him and he couldn't help but to stare at her.

"Um.... uh nothing .. same here you know? .. Nothing really to do..."

"Oh.. True," She said and feeling uncomfortable under his stare, she turned and looked at the crowd of people walking in the hall as she closed her locker.

"You look... different." He said still staring at her and when she looked at him briefly, Alex grinned at her, making her blush and turn away from him again. "You were pretty before and now you just look-"

"Trampy?" She said with a little smile and he couldn't help but laugh.

"No, beautiful." Alex said in a serious tone and watched as her cheeks turned a red color once again. "See you around EmmyBear." He said and walked off before he did or said something he would have regretted.

He couldn't not think of her, and vise versa with Emily.
