Dangeruss & Tazer

Epilogue

A few weeks later, it was the eve of the start of the new season. Patrick Kane settled into his bed. Jonathan had demanded that he spend the night with him and have a sleepover. He had pulled in a blow-up mattress to set in Patrick’s room and was already fast asleep, as the blonde man struggled to close his eyes.

After several minutes of trying, he finally let his heavy eyelids flutter shut and he finally drifted off to dream land. His vision dissolved to the scene of the United Center, which was buzzing and alive with cheers for hockey to be back.

Patrick found himself launching out of the tunnel and onto the fresh new ice. It felt so good to be back doing what he loved. And it felt especially good to be there with all of his friends and teammates at his side.

He flew around the edges of the rink, happily. He passed by Jonathan, who laughed and reminded him not to go overboard and control his excitement.

Patrick skidded to a halt back in front of his home tunnel. He grabbed his water bottle and started to lift it up to his mouth to take a sip, when it was knocked from his hands, as a hand wrapped around his arms pasting them to his sides about his elbows. Another hand clamped over his mouth and he was pulled backward into the tunnel.

Panic took over him once more, as he struggled to pull free, being pulled backward and into the locker room once more. It was empty and bare, as everyone else was back out on the ice. Patrick was finally released and flung into his stall.

He snapped his head up and his eyes glittered with trepidation as he gazed back into none other than...Sean Avery’s cold eyes. His hair was dripping with wet with water, from river, where he had jumped off the bridge.

Sean Avery glowered, as he shot his arm out and grabbed Patrick around the throat, lifting him up into the air.

Patrick was mortified and also a little bewildered. “You survived?!” the Blackhawk gasped.

His vision clouded with blackness, as he heard Avery’s sinister cackling fade in his ears. He jerked upward in his bed, finding himself back in the darkness of his room.

“JONATHAN!” He screamed.

How about that for a cliffhanger???? Haha!
I'm working on the sequel and I should start it with the beginning of the season. What I'll attempt to do is run it in line with the Blackhawks season. :)

I hope you enjoyed this piece a lot, I had fun writing it!!! :DDDDD
