Something Like Fate
Luciana Cortez Muñoz and Sergio Ramos García knew each other as kids. They grew up next door and have been best friends their whole lives. Sergio and Luciana have always had feelings for each other but never admit it. Luciana's always been afraid of falling in love. She watched her parent's marriage crumble and doesn't want any part of love.
When both of their careers take off, Sergio is traveling around Spain playing soccer and Luciana goes to the US on a full scholarship to Juilliard. Sergio has an amazing career with soccer in Spain and Luciana has become a very successful ballerina and lives in Manhattan, New York City.
When Luciana gets over her fears of love and gets her first boyfriend and brings him back home to Seville to meet her parents, what she doesn't expect is to see Sergio again. Or to get engaged. She spent most of her life trying to forget about him, especially after hearing about he and Lara. But fate has something in mind for the two Spaniards.
