Ezra could slowly feel himself closing up without Percy's presence.
Servants were being sold each day.
Ezra had hope he would never leave the castle but one morning he was awakened by the House Steward. He ushered Ezra to get dressed in his fancy clothes and then tugged him outside to a carriage.
"He's to be sent to serve the Queen of . . ." Ezra choose to block out the Steward's words.
Tears began to collect in his eyes.
