When the beast first made an appearance, it was just Ezra and the queen.
She was laughing about how calm and quiet he always was.
She wasn't ridiculing him, just pointing it out, Ezra knew this.
Even then, there he found himself, on the floor in pain.
Bones shifting, skin pulling all too quickly, and all too sudden.
He was thankful the room was large to accommodate his size.
But the Queen was not happy with his ability.
