Since She's Been Gone

It's been about a year since Gerard's best friend died of cancer. It tore him apart to loose her, she was like a sister to him. When he needed someone she was always there when everybody else wasn't. Now he has nobody. His band members don't understand what he's going through and that is making it even harder for him. He had put the song they wrote together, which he had titled Cancer, on his third album, The Black Parade.

Gerard's band, My Chemical Romance, is well known now, and so is Sammie. Every show he sings Cancer and dedicates it to her. The My Chemical Romance fans keep Sammie close to their heart, the one's who have met her before her death keeping her even closer, all of them hoping that she is watching over Gerard and keeping him safe.
