Tears No Longer Cry
Chapter 2: Trouble comes in all sorts of packages.
As I slowly climbed out of the well of imagination I had dug, I looked beside me to see a young boy sitting there, I started to panic as I looked at him. What was he doing here? Beside me? What? He slowly turned his head to look at me and blushed,
“Uh-uh-um… um… I-I hope y-you d-don’t m-mind tha-that I’m sitting h-here…” I looked at him, eyes wide, was he… scared of me? I searched his eyes and he had anxiety and panic written all over them,
“Um… tha-that’s ok-kay…” I looked down shyly, he looked at me as shocked as I had looked at him, and he slowly moved the curtain to create a free space between us, we took one look at each other and gasped, he had jet black hair, which he covered with the pink version of my cat beanie –I had black-, he wore an adventure time t-shirt just like me, and had on black ripped skinny jeans while I had on a green tutu, we looked down at our feet to see the exact same rainbow coloured Chuck Taylor’s and starting giggling, we tried very hard to stop laughing but it seemed physically impossible at the time. We heard our teacher shout and turned to look at her still giggling,
“OLIVIA! PHEONIX! STOP THAT GIGGLING OR YOU CAN SPEND ALL OF LUNCH IN THE EAST SIDE OF THE SCHOOL!!!” I looked at him, Pheonix… it was him… he turned to look at me still giggling but trying to hide it now, I started giggling the moment he faced me and in turn he gave up hiding it, the teacher glared at us, I think I’m going to like this guy.

As I looked up I realized that Pheonix and I had done absolutely no work whatsoever. For the past 50 minutes all we had done was draw weird pictures on our hands and the table. Yup I am definitely going to pass this year with flying colours… I looked off out the window into the distance thinking about what my mother told me this morning when all of a sudden Pheonix dropped onto the table, I swerved around to look at him laughing at my right hand. As I slowly lifted it I noticed a demented picture of Pikachu eating a peanut drawn on the back, by glob this guy was weird. He slowly turned to look at my still giggling and I couldn’t help but give in to the already festering laughter in my tummy. The teacher suddenly turned to us and slammed her hands on the desk.
“THAT IS IT! OLIVIA! PHEONIX! GRAB YOUR THINGS YOU ARE GOING TO THE EAST SIDE FOR THE REST OF THE DAY!!!” She huffed at us and the class erupted with gasps and giggling. We slowly looked at each other, and Pheonix was the first one to talk.
“But miss… its only first class… what about the other 6?” The teacher turned to him and glared as if to say ‘don’t screw with me boy’, we took that as our hint, picked up all our stuff, and left.
“Well that was weird…” I didn’t even realize I’d said anything until Pheonix started laughing,
“So she can talk hmm? Hah, interesting.” He smirked at my, a giggle escaped my mouth before I could stop it and he smiled victorious. “Y’know I know how you feel with not talking,” I looked at him trying to hold in the laughter. “Oh, shut up.” He said as I started laughing out loud,
“I’m sorry,” I giggled. “That was very unladylike of me, I shall redeem myself” he started laughing as I did a courtesy. “Was that ladylike enough young sir?” he laughed,
“Indeed m’lady,” suddenly he grabbed my arm and spun me around. “Now let’s see if you can join this century and… catch me!” He suddenly went running off down the corridor and around the corner,
“Hey! No fair!” I instantly went running after him and it didn’t take long to reach him, “got ya!” I tapped his shoulder,
“Nyuuuuuuuuuuu!!! I’m melting! I’m melting!” I laughed wholeheartedly as he pretended to melt, down the wall.
“C’mon idiot,” I said giggling, he started laughing as he got up and chased me down the corridor. As we reached the end of the wall and ran outside we were suddenly bombarded with an enormous gust of wind, I blew my hair out of my face and looked to see Pheonix doing the same with his hair. I started laughing and he smiled up at my. Suddenly he turned to look at something behind me,
“Woah… is that the east side?” I turned to face the direction Pheonix was talking about and saw a dark building in the background. I nodded, smiling as I grabbed his hand and started running,
“C’mon! I’ll introduce you to my friends!” he looked at me quizzically, but I just continued running…
