Twenty One
Marisol’s POV- August 2014
“Where does this go?”
I looked at Mike.
“Office” I said.
He nodded and Isaac walked over to me a scowl on his face.
“You chose now to move in?”
I laughed and nodded.
“Yes, I want it all moved in so when Mike and I get back we don’t have to worry. He should be healthy by our wedding day and by their home opener” I said.
He nodded.
“And if he hurts himself he can recover” I said.
He laughed and nodded.
“Did you unpack some clothes?”
I nodded.
“They’re all in the closet. I just need the frames and the living room furniture and we are done” I said.
He nodded and the doorbell rung.
“That’s the furniture, handle that please” I told my brother as I rushed to let the dogs out to the back.
“We really need that fence”
I looked at Mike and nodded.
“We do” I said.
“We got time”
I nodded and he kissed my forehead.
“We are almost moved in”
I nodded and he walked to the living room. The house was beautiful and so big. There were three bedrooms upstairs and 4 downstairs. I was using a bedroom as an office so we had 6 rooms making them 5 guest rooms. We had an attic and a basement as well. We had a huge front yard and when we got in Mike had to clean up dog poop. It wasn’t even our dogs that did it, we had no fence so strays got in.
“This place is huge”
Mike nodded.
“We want a big family”
He snaked his arms around my waist and Isaac laughed when I looked at Mike.
“You want a big family. I told you I’m only having three” I said.
He grabbed my hand and kissed my engagement ring
“Twins also run in the family”
I nodded and Mike hummed.
“Two rugrats at once, sounds painful”
I nodded and smiled.
“Yup, C-section because we woman in both side of my family can never give birth normally” I said.
He nodded and he looked around.
“What do we need?”
“Frames need to be put up and we are done” I said.
He nodded and looked at the box that held all the frames.
“Ok then, Let’s start off with what you want in the halls”
I nodded and I pointed at some frames. Isaac and him got them and followed me. I was on my period so I really couldn’t carry heavy stuff.
“I want the team one here” I said.
Mike nodded and we began setting up the frames.
“What about mom’s painting?”
I looked at Isaac.
“Right here” I said pointing to the spot next to the closest guest room.
Isaac nodded and began setting that one up.
“Che loves the back yard” I said.
Mike nodded and smiled as he saw Che bugging Arnold who was literally not fighting back.
“He’s getting old”
“He is not, he’s just tired” I said.
He nodded and turned to me.
“Well let’s go put on the rest so we can order some takeout”
“You are on a diet”
“I just sweat through this shirt. I deserve a breaking day”
I laughed and followed them to the living room. We finished putting those frames up and I looked around and smiled.
“We’re home babe”
I nodded and jumped on him.
“We’re home” I said.
I looked at Isaac who had his phone out.
“I’m hungry, want some Chinese?”
I nodded and sat on the couch.
“Yes please” I said.
I looked at Mike and he smiled at me.
"Few more weeks"
I nodded. Just a few and we would be married.
