Mike’s POV
My eyes snapped open when the dogs began barking and I heard the gate close. I sat up and looked at the time. It was 8am already, and Jeff was barely getting in.
“Mike!”
“In the living room!” I called out.
I looked up and Erica was smiling at me.
“They took her already?”
I nodded and rubbed my face..
“I’m exhausted” I mumbled.
“Too bad!”
I sat up and looked at Jeff.
“Why am I awake at this ungodly hour?” I asked him.
He looked at me.
“Because we are going to breakfast”
Erica looked at him and cleared her throat.
“Mari said you were going to put the suitcases upstairs”
I laughed as Jeff frowned at me. I looked up and noticed Erica looked exhausted.
“Go do it now” I told Jeff.
He sighed.
“First door left right?”
I nodded and he got the suitcase. I stood up and walked over to Erica who smiled and opened her arms.
“I haven’t seen you since May”
I nodded and hugged her.
“Congrats on winning”
“Thanks” I told her.
She pulled away and smiled at me.
“Are you nervous?”
I looked at her.
“I’m more scared of my bachelor party” I told her.
She laughed.
“I would be too”
I laughed and she yawned.
“I’m going to nap and I’ll see you later”
I nodded and she kissed my cheek.
“Go to your breakfast and have fun!”
I laughed and nodded as she made her way to the staircase.
“I will” I told her.
She nodded and Jeff made his way over to me.
“Is Toff ready?”
A door opened and I yawned.
“He is now” I told him.
Toff walked down the stairs and looked at us.
“You guys are loud”
“I know they are” I told him.
“So breakfast? Let’s go”
Jeff got my car keys and I told them to wait.
“We need to feed the dogs” I said.
“You are so whipped man”
“Yea well I like getting laid” I told him as I walked out through the side door.
I fed all 4 dogs and made sure they were all there before I said we could go.
“Let’s go” I said.
I followed them to my car and I noticed Marisol’s car was still there.
“They have Jessica’s car”
I nodded and we got into my car. I leaned back.
“Wake me up when we get there” I mumbled.
