Marisol’s POV- November 2013
“My condolences since I keep forgetting”

I laughed lightly and shook my head.

“It’s fine Jon and thank you”

“How are you holding up?”

“She was my grandma and it’s sad that she had to pass away because of my dad’s actions” I said.

He nodded and looked at me.

“He’ll pay it all in due time”

I nodded.

“It’s like he has no heart honestly. If grandma actually knew what he did a few years ago she would have gone earlier….i don’t hate him though” I said.

He gave me a smile.

“He’s your dad. He helped raise you”

“He didn’t though. My mom raised me until she passed away and after that we practically lived at Nana’s” I said.

He looked at me.

“Why do you call her nana?”

“she’s my godmother” I said.

He nodded.

“My mom’s bestfriend” I said.

“I figured she’s young from what you made me believe”

I laughed lightly and nodded.

“How’s the leg feeling?” I asked Jon as I picked up his little girl who was climbing on him.

“Sore. How did you deal with the recovery?”

“It hurt like a…you know” I said.

He laughed and nodded, like a bitch but I was holding his daughter.

“My knee was pretty bad and well I still get leg pain from time to time” I said.

“I imagine. You got your knee fixed because well you sure enjoyed baseball didn’t you”

“Of course and it was softball” I said.

He laughed and smiled.

“You still play?”

“Not as well as I used to but yea I still play from time to time. People recognize me from my softball days and well when we ask to join a game they let us” I said.

“That’s really cool. Well when I get better your tossing some pucks at me. You have a good hand and well I need all the help I can get”

I nodded slowly and gave him a light smile.

“You’ll get better” I told him.

“I sure hope so”

I smiled.

“Us silver medalist got to stick together”

I laughed and nodded.

“We do” I said.

“Is the food almost ready?”

“Yes, once Mike sets out the tables” I said.

We both looked at Mike who was watching TV. Jon got a pillow.

“Dude!”

Mike looked away from the screen and frowned as the pillow hit him in the face.

“Go!”

He and Jeff left to the garage to get the tables.

“Where are your boys?”

“They are in Australia. I sent them home for a few weeks” I said.

He nodded and I smiled.

“Need a pillow?” I asked.

“I’m fine”

I nodded and patted his shoulder as I looked at Maddie.

“You’re so big!” I said as I took her to the small kiddie place.

I fixed my dress and Mike walked over to me.

“Isaac isn’t coming?”

“Till later on, he’s at Kara’s parents house” I said.

He nodded and then he yelled out that he was coming later. I walked into the kitchen and Megan looked at me.

“Everything is set”

I nodded and we began filling plates with food.

“It smells great”

“Can’t believe we needed two turkeys”

“You guys are married/dating them. You should know how much they eat” I said.

“True”

I nodded and my phone rung. I answered the phone.

“Hello” I said.

“Is it hot in LA?”

“Hi boys” I said adjusting my phone on my shoulder.

The boys were calling me probably to tell their moms what to pack for them. I’ve seen their suitcases and I know they don’t pack them because I’ve seen them pack and Kara and I have to pack for them because if it were for them they’d just buy more suitcases.

“Is it hot?”

“It’s always warm but yes pack some sweaters. It gets chilly at night” I said.

“Are we interrupting?”

“It’s fine, what happened?” I asked as I helped serve the plates.

“Tell Luke to stop stealing our underwear!”

I smiled and shook my head slowly. That boy stole underwear not money or like anything else. He stole underwear. Last tour I had to buy so much underwear because just as I used to lose socks he loses boxers.

“He’s still doing that?” I asked.

“I am not!”

“HE IS!”

“Boys” I said.

I didn’t like it when they ganged up on one another. It usually ended with one of them not talking for a few days.

“Sorry”

“Tell him!”

“Well why must all you 4 be the same size?” I asked.

Jaclyn quick looked at me and laughed lightly when she noticed I was on the phone. She took the spoon from me and I stepped to the side.

“How about a deal. I’ll get you guys some underwear as you call it. Message me your sizes and then we will figure things out” I said.

I heard them mumble a ok.

“Bring a good sweater we might go to the snow if there is any” I said.

“Got it!”

“Clothes without holes” I said.

“You’re no fun”

“Well Isaac can be the fun one” I said.

“He’s no fun either”

“Ok boys what do you really want?” I asked.

“To wish you a happy thanksgiving”

“Thank you boys” I said.

“You look pretty”

“Aww thanks boys” I said.

I had put a small Instagram video showing all the food we had and I ended the video by showing myself.

“Your boobs look big”

“Slightly wrong but thank you I guess” I said.

“You’re welcome, bye!”

“Bye” I said.

“Love you!”

“Love you too” I said.

I hung up and Jaclyn smiled at me.

“They seem like polite boys. Can they babysit mine?”

“They’re a bunch of softies” I said.

She laughed and nodded. We walked into the living room where most of them were seated.

“No eating” I scolded Anze who frowned.

“Not yet”

We prayed and gave thanks to our lives, families and other stuff.

“So when are you guys getting married?”

Mike coughed and looked at Nicole Brown who grinned at him.

“I don’t know…when you guys stop asking?”

I nodded; Mike and I had talked Marriage. We wanted the house to be done; yea we had a house a few streets in being built. Mike did tell me I was the girl he was going to marry but he said that once my career settled he’s ask.

“Get married already”

I laughed and shook my head.

“You guys are horrible” I said.

“So when is Isaac asking?”

“Sometime next year” I said.

“Is he nervous?”

“They are basically high school sweethearts” I said.

“That’s cute”

I nodded and Jeff looked at me.

“When are you two going to get married?”

“When will you?” I asked him.

He frowned and I winked at him.

“If you aren’t married or engaged you aren’t allowed to question Mike or I about Marriage” I said.

Jon laughed and I looked at the rookies we had in the table who closed their mouth.

“I know Tyler, but I don’t know you” I said.

“Martin”

I smiled at the 23 year old …man? Boy? Manboy? He is 6’4 so you know…Man suits but he’s lanky…like my boys so boy…young adult?… He was a gorgeous young man though. The green huge eyes that screamed innocent, his voice was deep and he had a kind of lazy eye like Jeff. The young man was gorgeous and I would find him a girlfriend. He didn’t have one so you know…I was here to help.

“Well Martin how are you liking LA?” I asked him.

He nodded.

“It’s nice”

“That’s good, have you gone to the taco place?” I asked.

“Not yet, but Toff said he was going to take me”

I nodded.

“Good good” I said.

“What about kids! You guys must want a kid!”

Mike looked at me.

“Of course we want kids but you know…age…Marisol isn’t even 25 yet and she’s traveling. When the band she manages settles we will discuss a baby”

“What Mike said” I said.

“So you guys have thought about children and getting married?”

Mike nodded and the girls awed and slapped there significant others arm. I laughed and looked at coach.

“Liking the food? I asked him.

He nodded and looked at me.

“If he doesn’t marry you, I’ll find a guy that’ll marry you”

I laughed and the door opened. I turned around to see my brother and his girlfriend had walked in.

“Wow you managed to fit all of us in here. Give you props”

Isaac and Kara began greeting the team and Isaac reached me.

“You look nice”

“Thanks, did the boys call you?” I asked.

“Yea, wished Kara and I a happy thanksgiving”

I nodded and they walked into the kitchen to get their food. They sat next to Mike and the conversation continued. The laughs, conversations and the moments we had that night were nice. Following the next day it was back to business again until Christmas.
