I Never Thought It Would Be You, but I Am Damn Sure Glad It Is
Happy Birthday and A Letter?
*Gabrielle's POV*
"Gabrielle! Get up!!!" My sister Alicia screamed at the top of her lungs. "Ugh! Alicia why do you do that?!" I yelled. "Because I can and it's a very special occasion." She beamed. "Oh so that's why you're in my room ..." I trailed off trying to go back to sleep. Alicia hates being in my room for extended periods of time. She hates anything 'dark'. "C'mon Gabrielle get up!" Alicia whined. "Fine but can you please leave? I will be downstairs in a minute." "Okay!" She squealed as she skipped out of my room. I got up and went into the bathroom and did the first part of my morning routine (Wash face, and brush teeth) then went down stairs to be blinded by all the light coming in through the windows. "Good Morning Gabrielle!" My mother said smiling as if she was trying to compete with the sun. "Morning mum." I reply sleepily. "I trust you slept well?" My father bellows. "Yes dad." I reply. "C'mon and have some breakfast." My mum said still smiling. Alicia and I sat down at the table and were greeted by pancakes, bacon, and eggs. And as we were eating our parents sang happy birthday to us. Then Alicia and I both got letters when the post came but these letters were not like the usual birthday letters from our grandparents. The envelope was thick and heavy, made of yellowish parchment, and the address was written in emerald-green ink. Turning the envelope over, we saw a purple wax seal bearing a coat of arms; a lion, an eagle, a badger, and a snake surrounding a large letter H. "Who are the letters from?" "We don't know." Alicia and I said in unison. "Let me see it honey." Our dad said smiling. I hand him my letter and he took one look at it and said "This is your Hogwarts acceptance letter." "Open them up." Our mother instructed. Inside it read:

Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore
(Order of Merlin, First Class, Grand Sorc., Chf. Warlock,
Supreme Mugwump, International Confed. of Wizards)
Dear Ms. Trimble,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.
Term begins on September 1. We await your owl by no later than July 31.

4.One winter cloak (black, with silver fastenings)
Please note that all pupil's clothes should carry name tags.
