The long wooden table held empty glasses, ice-cold water bottles, napkins, three microphones, and countless camera lenses.

The lead singer sighed and ran a hand through his grown out hair. He drummed his long skinny fingers on the table and looked at his band mates.

This interview was the last one, but the biggest one. During their non-touring days, they have been sitting through interviews, or traveling. It was never really a day off, but they were getting popular and their album was doing really well.

He pulled out his cellphone and saw no new messages, he shoved it into his skinny pants pocket and sighed.

“Are you guys ready?” Janette Lily asked the band.

John nodded his head, smiled and sat forward in his black chair. “Fire away,” He said with a shrug.

She smiled and turned on a microphone as well as a recorder.

“Can you say your name and the band’s name for the record.” She asked pulling out a notebook.

“I’m John O’Callaghan and we’re The Maine.”

No, I do not own The Maine, or any of the lyrics mentioned.
