Emmerson’s p.o.v: “Maliah I’ve messed up so much.” I say and burry my face into my hands
“No you haven’t. Yes you messed up a bit. But it was in the past. Now we have to go to the baby’s doctor appointment. After that we have to get at least Mina’s stuff and put in the room next to Ezra’s. And the baby will have the room next to ours. Eros can go to the basement and have it all to himself. Eli can move into Eros’ old room. And Ethan can have the room next to Estella. I think that’ll work. We’ll just tell them at dinner.” Maliah tells me
“Yeah. Ezra has never done anything bad. And now he has the nerve to make out with his boyfriend in front of me. Fuck! I didn’t even know he had a boyfriend. And it’s Eli’s friend! Alixander Moriarty.” I say
“Alixander Moriarty? When I had him he wasn’t a very good kid. He always came to class high, with a hangover, or drunk. He isn’t a good kid. I always had to basically had to stop him from fucking a guy in the hallway. Until his mom pulled him out of school. Then the next year he came back depressed. And different. He’s just a problematic kid. He may be the solution or he may just make things worse” Maliah tells me
“I don’t know what to do Maliah! I’ve never had to punish Ezra. But if he acts out again. I will have too. And I don’t know what that Alix boy will make Ezra do.” I say worriedly and she hugs me and kisses my cheek
“Come on we have to get to the doctor’s office.” She says. She’s only three months along and we’re about to find out what gender it is. And how many there are. And the boys don’t know yet but Mina knows. We are planning to tell them at dinner

~Dinner~
I open the front door to basically see my son face battling his boyfriend.
“Ahem!” I clear my throat and Alix stops kissing Ezra and looks at me in shock
“I’m sorry Mr. DeMarco. Ezra invited me over for dinner. Then he’ll take me back to the hospital” Alix signs and says
“Hospital?” I question.
“Ezra we have been dating for about three weeks. And you haven’t told him about me?” Alix says confused
“Well I was going to tell him the night I was supposed to bring you with me to meet my mom’s family but they cancelled and it’s next week now. And I never really got to telling him.” Ezra tell him
“Tell me what?” I ask. He met Evan’s family?
“Well Alix is my boyfriend. And he has cancer” Ezra says quieting at the end then he pushes me aside and leads Alix in. his boyfriend has cancer? And he hasn’t left him? He’s stronger than I account him for. I walk back in and Eli and Persephonie are setting up the table, Eros and Winnie are getting out the silverware, Ethan and Mina are bringing down the cups, and Maliah and Estella are preparing the food. Then I see Ezra and Ethan glaring at each other as Ezra pulls Alix closer to him and they sit on the couch
“Can you guys please come to the table?” Maliah asks Alix and Ezra and they go to the table.
“Ok Me and Maliah have something to tell you. But first I’d like to welcome Ethan and Estella to our family. Maliah will be your step mom. And thank you Ethan for deciding to come with Estella. Hopefully I can repay for all the years I’ve missed. And to all of you to inform you. Maliah and I are pregnant” I say
“Wait if you’re pregnant. Where is the baby going to come out dad?” Eli asks me
“Dad how do babies come out of a guy?” Eros questions
“It comes out of the dick or ass duh!” Ezra jokes
“That would be a sight to see” Ethan adds
“Are you saying that you want watch our own dad give birth out of his ass or his dick. Ew!” Estella exclaims
“That would be almost incest. And very gross” Mina continues and they all burst out laughing except me and Maliah
“Very appropriate boys. And Mina and Estella. No I’m the only one pregnant” Maliah says
“I’m going to have a little sibling! Aww!” Ezra coos
“Ezzie your gay is showing” Mina chuckles and Ezra sticks his tongue
“It’s a little boy.” Maliah says
“And a little girl” I say
“Twins! Oh my god!” Ezra and Mina shriek
“Yup. Emmitt and Elissa. Ok but we will have to rearrange the rooms. Eros you will get the basement all to yourself, Ethan you will move downstairs next to Estella, Ezra you will stay, Mina you will move into Eli’s old room, Eli you will move to the third floor which means your dad will move his gym. And the babies will have Eros’ old room. Is that ok?”
“Under one condition.” Eros says
“What?” I ask
“I will move into the basement if the two artists paint it.” Eros bargains
“Huh?” Eli says with his mouth full of spaghetti
“Yeah you. And Ezra” Eros says
“Sure” Ezra and Eli say in unison
“And I want you to paint band symbols and just make it look awesome” Eros says
“That includes a self-portrait of you to fuel your arrogance” Eli says and the kids laugh. I hope my family is always this happy
