Oh Calamity

Ryder's p.o.v: it's been a week since Ezra kinda blew up on me and he's been trying to make it up to me each day. it's cute but annoying because he won't get off my case. one reason is because he saw all my old scars and it scared him cause he used to cut too and he's been off whatever drug he has been addicted to so he's kinda on edge. but all and all he's and okay guy. and now I've seen him smile a genuine smile. his smile is beautiful and it makes his steel grey eyes light up. i think his rehab is helping him already. especially with his brother's helping him. His oldest brother is getting a degree to be a lawyer and his other older brother is getting a degree in psychology so they must be good negotiators and helping him get better. today is Saturday and Ezra's offered to take me and his family and my brothers to breakfast. so they can get to know me and they can catch up on his life. since he hasn't had a real conversation with them in a year. This is part of his plan get his act together. He told me to dress up nice and to dress the boys up nice also. So I'm dressed in a nice blue button up with a tie and black skinny jeans since I don't own any dress pants and the boys in black button ups and blue jeans. and we all have black vans and ties. I hear a knock at the door and i see the whole DeMarco clan. Emmerson, Maliah, Eros, Elijah, Ethan, Ezra, Mina, Estella, then the two little ones Emmitt and Elissa. Damn eight kids. from different mom's and one with a different mom and dad.
"Okay. First things first. My dad wants to say sorry for assuming your a bad person. Dad?" Ezra says
"I'm sorry for being rude and assuming you where a bad person." he says sincerely
"sorry for being rude" i say and we shake hands
"Well lets go" Ezra says and smiles and i get into his car with Finny and Flynn and we all drive off. we get to this fancy-ish restaurant. it's not super high class but high enough to where you have to dress nice. we walk in and Ezra pays and checks us in. they get us a huge table and four high chairs
"So Ryder where did you live before you moved to Depoe Bay?" Maliah asks me
"I lived in Sheffield Mrs. DeMarco" i tell her
"Call me Maliah" she says politely and smiles and i nod
"Where are your parent's?" Emmerson asks me and Ezra glares at him
"U-uh well m-my father passed away from cancer and my mom isn't in the best condition." i say
"oh. well lets eat." Eros says awkwardly and we all eat and they ask me questions and we get along. when we were about to leave Maliah and Emmerson pull me to the side
"With out you Ezra may have never got the motive to change. and I'd like to thank you. Please be good to him" Emmerson says
"I will be. as long as he's good to me" i say and they walk off and i get into the car and Ezra had already put Finny and Flynn in to their car seats
"Thank you for taking us to breakfast. It was very good. Say thank you boys" i say and tell the twins
"Thank you" the twins say in unison
"You are very welcome" Ezra giggles
"You seem happier now. why?" I ask
"I'm off the drugs and i feel happy around you. i was on drugs to be happy but they just made me a dickhead. and i need to be happy for once and now i just need to be calm, nice and slow. but energetic. i just need to be me" he says and i smile
"And i like to meet just you." i reply and he drives us home. we get to my porch and the boys have already run into the house
"Ryder. would you be willing to give the broken idiot named Ezra Hayden DeMarco a chance? and to go at his pace but be willing to change pace when both of us are ready?" he asks me
"Yes I'm willing to. Ezra. would you be willing to give the shy hurt British twit named Ryder Harrison Eckes a chance? and to try to brake him out of his shell and to stop him from saying stupid things?" i reply and ask him
"Yes" he says
"You may now kiss the bride!" Flynn says eagerly
"Dumb dumb they aren't getting married" Finny says annoyed and me and Ezra burst out laughing
"ok you two go inside I'll be inside in a couple of minutes" i say laughing and they head inside
"thanks. so we will give each other a chance" Ezra says
"Yup" i say and smile
"Well I'll see you later doll. gotta get back to rehab. bye" he says and kisses my cheeks and i blush
"Bye" i say and hug him and he starts walking off and he looks towards his house i look to see what he's looking at and i see his brothers giving him a thumbs up and mouthing something to him. but then they notice me and they look away and pretend like nothing happened. haha i think I really like my neighbors. they're odd in a good way. i walk back inside and Flynn and Finny walk up to me
"So... are you gonna marry him?" Finny questions
"Is he gonna be our other mommy?" Flynn asks
"He would be our other daddy. he's not a lady" Finny says and i laugh.
"I don't know and even if i did it's no three year olds concern" i tell them
"But-" they say but i cut them off and head them to their room
"no if, and's, or buts. just go to your room and take a nap while i drink some tea and listen to music" i say and put them down for a nap and start some tea. My life will be hectic but i can handle it. I know it
