Oh Calamity

Ryder's p.o.v: After everything was resolved Mina got in to trouble by Mrs. DeMarco the school principle and Ezra's step mom. I guess last year she got promoted since she was the World history teacher. Now everyday Mina looks at me and Ezra in pity or disgust. But Ezra likes to make her feel like that so he usually kisses me around her or he tries certain move like kissing my neck or rubbing my leg while she's near. But it's not completely one sided. I never thought I'd turn in to an almost regular emotional person with all the feelings in the world. Well I have some feelings. But you know what I mean. Right? Hey I got a job. And I made a friend. His name is Adam Karter and I'm friends with his girlfriend too. Her name is Annabeth Leo. They met when they both had cancer and they've been going out for about a year. Well right now I'm at my job. I work at a coffee shop. I see the door open and Ezra walks in. And Adam's jaw drops
"Hey babe" Ezra says and walks up to me and kisses me
"Hey love how are you?" I ask and look back and Adam's mouth is still a gape and Ezra looks at Adam and his jaw drops too.
"Ezra" Adam says
"Hey Adam" Ezra says sadly
"You two know each other?" I ask
"Alix" They say in unison and I just keep my mouth shut and I feel somewhat bad.
"You chose another guy like Alix. He's shy, smart, broken, and you became like the old Alix or so I've heard. But you cleaned up like him too" Adam says. Am I really like Alix?
"Ryder is different too though. He isn't exactly like Alix" Ezra says
"I know. But he is a bit like him. Sorry Ryder. I don't mean to compare you to him." Adam tells me
"It's ok. So you knew Alix?" I ask
"Yeah" Adam says
"Well I just came by to say hi and bring you something i saw in the store. I thought you'd like them" Ezra says and pulls two boxes out of a bag and hands them to me and I open them to see a phoenix necklace and a moon necklace (Like the ones in the picture) and he has on a Moon and Phoenix necklace on too
"Aww Ezra they are marvelous" I say
"Not as marvelous as you. Ok that was cheesy" He chuckles
"Yes it was" I giggle and kiss him then some douche yells "get a room faggots!" and Ezra flips them off and pulls me into a bigger kiss then I push him off
"Hun I have to get back to work. Ok? I'll see you at four" I say
"Ok darling. Bye, Love you" He tells me
"Love you too" I say and he leaves
"I did not know you were dating Ezra DeMarco" Adam says
"Heh yeah. What was Alix like. And how was their relationship?" I ask. Man I feel like the snoopy girlfriend
"He was funny, nice, a bit stubborn, kinda secretive about big stuff, he cared about a lot, He liked acting tough, he really loved Ezra. And Ezra really loved him. But I can tell he extremely loves you." Adam says and I smile
"When did he pass away?" I ask
"Almost two years ago on the 26th of December." Adam says
"Oh." Is all I can say. My shift ends and I go to Ezra's. Adeline and Collin are watching the boys. I knock on the door and Emmerson answers it and he scoffs and rolls his eyes then starts pressing the doorbell to flash in Ezra's room. I see him come down and He smiles and walks up to me and tells his dad he'll be out for a bit. He takes me to the park and he sits me down
"Ryder I have something to tell you. And it's important" he says
"You didn't cheat on me did you? Or are you breaking up with me?" I ask worriedly
"Neither. But I might have slept around before I met you" He says disappointed
"Do you have an STD?" I ask worriedly
"No. NO! no! But one of the girls I slept with is pregnant. And she doesn't want it. I was wondering if you would like to help me with it. Because I'm taking it in. She's already signed over her rights. Now I just have to wait till it's born. You don't have to since you have Finnian and Flynn but I just felt the need to tell you." He says. The fact that he slept around doesn't make me happy, but the fact that it was before us makes me slightly happier.
"Who's the mom?" I ask
"Some older girl than us. Only by a couple years. Her name is Amy Belevich (I really don't know. I just needed a name). She's Russian. she has these pretty ocean blue eyes. That's the only thing I hope the kid gets from her." He says
"But yeah. I'd love to help you raise the kid. But under one condition." I say
"What?" He asks
"He or she has to call me daddy. And it will be my kid by default." I tell him and he chuckles and hugs me
"Of course it'll be yours. And I have one more thing that might set you off" He says nervously
"What is it?" I ask a little worried
"It's triplets. two boys and a girl" He says scared
"Holy shit dude. How many kids can you make?" I ask jokingly and he eases up and then laughs nervously
"So you aren't mad?"
"No. I like a challenge. So we need to plan names, we need a baby room. First of all we need a house. I can raise the money" I say
"And I can get help from my dad. and get a job. They will be our kids. in five months" he says and now I get mad
"You couldn't have told me earlier?!" I say a bit mad
"No because I only found out a week ago. But we can do this" He says and grabs my hands
"Since it is December. They'll be here by May. So just around the time we graduate. That'll be fine." I say and we hug then head to my house to tell Adeline and Carter. I feel like they should know first cause they'll be more accepting
