A Broken Heart

The Recovery

Shortly after my suicide attempt on the bridge I admitted to myself that I needed help and Joel was very accepting he also admitted that he needed help as well and we agreed to go together and check into a treatment centre for a few months the first step we learnt together while we were there was acceptance. I am not going to lie and say it was be easy because its not but this is the right thing for both of us and getting a fresh start is what we need the most once our treatment was over we had a little ceremony and said our thank you's and gave goodbye hugs our advisors gave us some information near by for regular counseling which we attend frequently

Joel and I are doing better every day and because of it we have moved in together and couldn't be happier if it wasn't for him pulling me off that bridge and nearly risking his life i would probably be dead and I am so lucky to have someone that cares. Joel's dad Brian and my aunt started dating at first it was a bad idea but she got him cleaned up and they became closer.
