Earth to Me

If I learned anything from my senior year of high school, it’s that lightning can definitely strike in more than one place, and it can absolutely strike the same person multiple times.

And it’s insane to think that the eight of Earth's guardians not only made it out alive, but with everything looking up. Put’emup, Put’emup is gearing up for a new album, Chuck and Riley are living it up down in Florida again, and I’m about to be a freshman at the University of Chicago with my best friend, Tegan. After our weird senior year, things should be back to normal, right?

Right?

Okay, well, maybe not. I’ve already got a few funny feelings about everything hanging over my head, but I guess some of it can be chalked up to the fact that I have to grow up at some point.

I used to think I could be like Johnny Cool in his awesome comic-book glory when we all became unofficial superheroes. But now, he’s even getting his own real cartoon – could I ever make that kind of upgrade?
