So Juvenile
January 2004:
"Come on, Alex! Let's go down the hill!" I yelled to Alex and I stepped through the snow.
"I'm coming!" 16 year old Alex said.
"Let's go!" I said and Alex and the 15 year old me got in the sled.
"Whoopee!" Alex said and I laughed at him.
"Be quiet." I said.
"Yes ma'am."
With that Alex pushed off and we went flying down the hill.
"Jack, GET OUT OF THE FUCKING WAY!!!!" I yelled at Jack who was standing at the bottom right in our way.
"AHHHH!!!!" Jack yelled but didn't move and we ran right into him.
"Owwwwww..." I moaned from underneath Jack and Alex.
"Ree! Are you okay?" Alex asked me.
"Yeah." I said and suddenly I started cracking up.
"I think she lost it." Alex said but then Jack started laughing too. "What's so funny?" Alex whined.
"Look at us!" I gasped still laughing.
"Ohhhhh..." Alex said and he started laughing too.
We had to be quite a sight. The three of us all tangled up arms and legs all mixed up with snow all over our faces and in our hair.
We all collapsed into a hysterical laughing fit.
"I am sooo cold." I muttered pulling my hoodie closer around me.
"Well it's your fault that you're just wearing jeans, a t-shirt, converse, and a hoodie." Alex said. "You know we were gonna sled on the way back from school."
"Thanks for that little lecture, dad." I said glaring at Alex.
"Here, Ree, take my hoodie." Jack offered.
"Why thank you, Jack!" I said taking his hoodie and glaring at Alex. "I guess I know who loves me more."
"Hey! I love you!" Alex said defensively.
"Yeah, sure Alexander."
"I do!"
"Okay, okay. I believe you." I said but rolled my eyes.
"Ree!!! I DO!" Alex said whining.
"I know you do. I just wanted to make you squirm." I said.
"You make me squirm......in my pants." Jack said.
"Jack! You perv!" I laughed.
"You're disgusting. I don't know why I'm friends with you." Alex said shaking his head but smiling at me.
"So juvenile." I sighed.
"So, so juvenile." Alex sighed too.
"Juvenile, huh?" Jack said and wiggled his eyebrows.
"Uh, oh." I said.
Jack ran at me, picked my up and threw me over his shoulder and swung me around in circles.
"Jack!" I laughed. "Put me down!"
"Never!!" Jack yelled.
Alex just kept walking shaking his head and laughing.
"You know, this is actually kind of comfy." I said.
"Really?" Jack asked.
"Yeah. Will you carry me home this way my wonderful, darling, Jack?"
"Of coarse m'lady! But it's Alex's turn!" Jack said and threw me, yes, threw me, into Alex's arms. Luckilly he caught me.
"Hi, Alex." I smiled up at him as he carried me bridle style.
"Hi, Maria." He smiled down at me.
Ahhh those were the days.
