When Does the Pretending End?

I managed to get through to Jorge whilst Nuno drove us to the police station. I wanted to warn Jorge about the paps. I shouldn’t have bothered. I didn’t even get to tell him what really happened before he started telling me how stupid I was to get into these “situations”. Great just what I needed. Another lecture by him when he comes later on this week.

“Grow up and act like an adult” Jorge always says. Hello I wasn’t the one who treated the crazy chick like shit that yet my car gets all the damage and I get all the agro. The papers are going to have a field day. Shit. Máe will go super crazy on me now. How am I to put up with my family now? When they all came over shortly after Dad’s anniverisey Máe informed me that they will all be making more trips to England more. Guess Zé, Nuno and myself won’t be having as much fun for a while.

As we pull up at the station I notice “darling” talking to a hot blonde in a red dress. As I pass I say ”Hope this blonde isn’t as crazy and high as your last blonde friend”. The red dress chick started talking about slander. Wow touchy much. I smirk over to Nuno. We take a seat in the station and wait to be called to make the statements. The police officer from earlier shows Lucy through a door and she doesn’t come back for nearly 20 minutes. My turn next and after 30 minutes I walk back out to reception to find Nuno and Lucy talking. They looked quite friendly actually.

Apparently been friendly to me is hard for her. As I approached, I didn’t miss the frown appear in her face. “They want to talk to you now” I say to Nuno. No sooner had Nuno left and I was about to say something to Lucy, the red dress lady appeared “hey Lucy fancy a walk” she said and they both walked outside.
