Poltergeist

Amethyst was beaten and abused as a child; she watched her father brutally murder her mother at age 15 and watched as her father destroyed Manhattan a year later., causing her best friend and his family to disappear. Since then, she's lived alone with her dog. When 2 assassins come looking for her, she retreats to her friend's abandoned house but fails to avoid them, however they find out about her intense power and taker her captive. They young woman finds out that she's been taken by none other than the Avengers and is overjoyed to meet Thor. The Thunderer convinces the team to let her join and 3 months later they gain another recruit who hits on Amethyst for fun. When Amy's friend comes back, she ditches her new friend, Jay for the hero returned but the old friend is not who he was before. She has to face not only her father, but the fact that her old friend is not who he seems to be.
