Harley is often dispatched to fill in as a bassist or drummer when band members fall ill on tour. The one night she plays bass for Panic! at the Disco is the night that begins a life-long string of run-ins with Spencer Smith. In a profession where people aren't fixed but fleeting, Harley and Spencer find that bumping into each other over the years all around the globe has become their only constant in a life of inconsistencies.
