Love Sucks

The lunch bell rang. Scarlet put away her first aid kit and put on her jacket to hide her cuts. She went outside to the benches and tables where she saw her best friend Liz.

“Hey Scarlet what’s up? ”Liz asked.

“Andy broke up with me!”Scarlet replied.

“He what? How could he? You two made a perfect couple.”Liz said, anger coming through her voice.

“I don’t know why, he just said he couldn't be with me anymore.” Scarlet sobbed.

Liz shuffled from where she was sitting, moving to a position right next to Scarlet. Liz put her arms around Scarlet, pulling her into a tight hug.

“You are a wonderful girl Scarlet, and if Andy can’t see that, he can go fuck himself for all I care!” Liz whispered into Scarlet’s ear.
