Dark and Rainy Nights

I consider myself a brave warrior as I descended down the gum tree outside my room. It was a treacherous enough descent without battling through the gusts of wind which attempted to blow me off to my doom.

I could imagine his reaction to my story.

He would first laugh at me; I loved making him laugh because he had no choice to let his gorgeous smile show.

Then he would say something cute, like how I always make big, adventurous stories out of everyday events. Life to me was one big adventure and I was lucky to have him along for the ride.

I hope he was still eager to journey with me.

The thought of loosing him had me racing into arms of the powerful storm which began to unleash its fury.
