Hidden Bundle of Joy.

Julie was over setting up i can't believe this is basically my last appointment before Ayla-Mai is here. It's crazy how fast time has gone. It makes me think about how quickly times going to go when she is here one minute shes going to be a newborn next we will be packing her up to go to university. Oh God Olivia stop thinking that now, you have 18 years before that happens.

"i'm all ready for you Olivia" Julie said from the living room
"okay" i went and lied down
"are we waiting for Ashton" she asked
"no we can start" i said Ashton went out to get milk about 10 minutes ago, the shop is only down the road, i don't know whats taking him so long
Julie did the normal check up stuff, heartbeat etc.
"sorry, sorry, i ran into mum" Ashton said as he came in the front door
"don't worry babe, you haven't missed anything" i said as he sat the milk in the kitchen before joining us
"everything looks fine and going in the right direction" Julie said
"So is there any signs that you can see that would mean an early delivery" I asked
"well depends on how early we are talking" she said
"well Ash is about to leave on a promo tour and mid June he is going to Europe and we were just wondering if there's any chance i could go into labour in June"
"Well theres no signs of any problems that would lead to an early labour, but for you guys sake i would not going anywhere from end of June because theres more of a chance she could be a couple weeks rather than a month"
"okay so you think i'm fine to go from 15th June to 26th" Ash asked
"Yes, theres no signs and i wouldn't be thinking she would be coming anytime in June"
"So everything is fine, we are still fine for a home birth as well" i asked
"Yes theres nothing showing that we would need you to deliver in the hospital"
"thats great, thank you Julie" i said
Ashton went to call management about him still going to Europe while Julie and i finished up.
Once Julie was gone, Ashton came back and sat down next to me
"so i kind of invite mum, Harry and Lauren round for Dinner tonight while out" he said
"babe, we literally have no food in the house" i whined
"just because they are coming for dinner doesn't mean we cant get take out" he said
"okay fine, but let me invite dad and Maui, i havent seen them in ages"
i text my dad asking him and Maui to come over around 7 and they agreed.

"So what take out are we going to get" i asked as i set the table 10 minutes before our families were meant to arrive
"i was thinking like Chinese or something"
"is there one who delivers or are you going to have to go get it"
"we'll find one that delivers"
just as i finished putting the last fork on the table the doorbell rang.
"i'll get it" i heard Ashton shout, he opened it and i heard both our parents talking
i joined them as they moved into the living room
"hi everyone" i said as i got hellos as i hugged everyone
"i havent seen you in ages sis" Maui said
"i know, but you're always welcome here you know i'm only like 10 minutes down the road"
"i know, i'm just lazy"
i laughed and we all got talking about everyone's life's and what they've been up too.
"So Ashton said Chinese, is that good for everyone" i asked
"yes" was the reply from everyone.
Ashton took everyones order and called up the restaurant and he came back saying it would be here in about 30 minutes.
"so can we see Ayla-Mai's room" Lauren asked
"Sure" i took her, maui and Harry to the room
we had finished it, Ashton had put up the dresser and we had painted "Princess Ayla-Mai" on the wall above her cot. A soft rug on the floor, a rocker chair in the corner by the window. Everything was ready for her arrive.
"it's so pretty and girly" Lauren said
"i know, Ashton wanted to keep it a bit more neutral, but i got my way and got a princess room for my princess" i said
"please can you not be one of those parents"Maui said
"one what" i asked
"one you is all pretty in pink girly girl on their child, it's sickening"
"too late" i said laughing
"So what happens if its a boy" Harry said
"oh don't worry Harry, we know it's going to be a girl100%" i said laughing
"Yeah, but i know someone whos mum had a baby and they were told it was a girl and it was a boy"
"that's very rare for the midwife to get wrong, don't worry about it Harry"
My dad came in and said the food was here so we went and all sat round the table. It was nice having our families together, this might be the last time before Ayla is here and eating dinner will be a whole different way. This could possibly be the last time it's going to be the 7 of us, soon we will be 8.
