Evelyn Bearnhardt has been charged with murder and sentenced to Zarcalka Institute for the Criminally Insane. She knows she does not belong there, but when a figure from her past makes an appearance at Zarcalka and plans to remain there, Evelyn begins to wonder if she really did deserve the sentence she had been issued.
