I Knew You Were Trouble
Prologue
My life seemed perfect to me, everything was going as planned. I never knew things would change for the worst and all that replays in my head is that one night, that one night he walked out of my life forever.
"Baby, It's not what you think, it's not what it looks like!" He was panicking, "Please, please don't go!"
I was confused, didn't he want this? Didn't he want me? Or was he just bored with his life at home? Maybe he just wanted a thrill. I thought we were happy with each other. He's told me how much he loves me, how much he wants me.
He looked at me and then back at the door, he swallowed hard.
"I think..." I grabbed his arm.
"Adam, please don't do this to me!" I pleaded, "To us."
He looked at me once again, his eyes were watery. I knew what was going to happen. I knew what was going to become of us.
"I'm so sorry Livy. I'm sorry I let this happen." A tear rolled down his cheek and he quickly wiped it away
"Adam, I love you."
He kissed my head, "You'll never see me again, I won't cause you anymore pain."
"But I..." Before I could say anything he was already gone.
