"What is the scariest thing to you that could happen to your relationship?"
My therapist asked me this once. She peered over her vintage looking glasses and held her black pen poised gracefully over the paper. She waited for my answer for almost four minutes. I realized then that I couldn't think of anything.
Now, as I sit on the cold hospital chair I realize what it is.
