Journal Entry 8, November 14.
I came across Nieya's obituary today.
Nieya Renee Washington
23,was found dead in the
apartment where she was living.
Nieya is daughter of Mark and
Karen Washington, both locals.
Washington's death was ruled
suicide by the towns coroner
Jayson Blige. Nieya was
diagnosed with depression
after the death of a close
friend, Raymond Olse, also
suicide. Nieya is preceded
in death by both sets of
grandparents and her late
Aunt. Survivors include her
parents Karen and Mark,
and her brother Isaac.
The funeral will be held at
Valley Hills baptist church,
with the burial following
immediately as the Sallesville
Cemetery, November 2.
