To Caress My Day

Chapter 223: Shark Week Marathons

Sadly, it was the second to the last day of Twig’s birthday vacation. Reality couldn’t fully smack her in the face with that memo though because Seth and the staff that were dead set on granting her every wish like it was still her birthday. She was still being glorified like a Goddess. Even Seth, being as sapped as he was from last night’s activities, drove himself out of bed to pass her a birthday platter of breakfast from the kitchen. He wouldn’t allow Twigs to retrieve her own breakfast, though she was already awake and freshly showered. At his insistence, she stayed put, greedily savoring being awaited on hands and feet. When Seth returned with her meal, she had other ideas. Straightening up with excitement at the sight of him in her sheer olive billowy robe, she asked him. “Seth, is it okay if we eat somewhere else for breakfast? I was thinking downstairs on the outdoor couch area that’s built into the infinity pool.”

“We can, birthday girl. Just so long as you go straight there and not stray away somewhere.” Seth apprised her firmly though his eyes were too warm with love to be taken seriously.

“I won’t, I promise!” Twigs vowed as she flew off the bed, her robes sweeping along behind her. “Thank you, husband!”

When Seth met her outside, he practically dropped the breakfast tray. There was his woman in another micro-bikini. Only this one showed even more flesh than the one before.

Twigs sat on the center of the couch with her legs open far enough for him to see the tiny pastel purple cloth that was somehow expected to conceal her sex, and her arms stretched out over the tops of the couch, presenting her matching bikini top made of thin straps and a single strip of cloth covering her nipples. Her breasts were basically on display save for the small areolas. She had been soaking in the sun’s warm rays, comfortable in her own scantily-clad form, and being the epitome of sexy. That was until she heard dishes shatter to the floor, jolting her out of her meditation. Whipping her sunglasses off, she gaped at Seth in his swimming trunks crouching down to recover his mess. “Oh, Seth, don’t! You’ll hurt yourself!”

Striving to salvage what he could save of their breakfast, Seth left the rest of it on the floor when he heard the sounds of footsteps coming. It was the staff arriving to clear up the clutter for him. Apologizing for his clumsiness, the men and women graciously waved him off and back to his woman. Making a mental note to tip them exceedingly for this, Seth strode to his awaiting ‘wife’ and set the tray down on the couch between them to state the obvious. “I dropped the tray.”

Twigs couldn’t help but burst out into laughter, covering her face in shame for finding this engaging. She didn’t have to ask him what made him drop the tray in the first place. It was her bikini, a set she and her friends had selected to reap this exact response from Seth. “I’m so sorry for that, baby. I didn’t mean to startle you so. Forgive me?”

“You’re forgiven, now let’s eat.” Seth forgave her with ease. Keeping his eyes trained on his breakfast so he wouldn’t ravage her half-naked body instead, he waited to acknowledge her existence until after they had their fill of breakfast. “Which one did you want to start with today, snorkeling or sub-diving?”

“I’m not sure which would be best.” Twigs told him, leaning back as one of the attending staff appeared to take their dishes away. Once gone, and alone, she continued on. “Should we go in easy with snorkeling or just rip that band-aid off by sub-diving and get that scary experience out of the way?”

“Hmm, I’m not sure. I’m too much of a chicken shit to dive into the ocean, but if that’s what you wanna do first then I’ll do it.” Seth told her with a wink, fighting to keep his eyes on her face and not on her micro-bikini that was useless at hiding the details and lines of her body. “It’s all up to you, Birthday Girl.”

Arching a thick brow at him, Twigs reminded him. “You do know it’s not my birthday anymore, right? That was yesterday.”

“Hey, you got the wrong idea if you think you make the rules here on this island.” Seth scolded her with a disapproving look before it shifted back into a smile as he pointed to himself. “I do.”

Laughing again at him, Twigs surrendered with her hands up. “Alright, fine. I’ll go along with your rules.”

“Thank you.” Seth winked before toasting his coffee to her and taking a sip.

Taking a moment to weigh on their options, Twigs stared at him. They were both anxious about deep diving into the ocean. Snorkeling didn’t come close to conjuring the same terror. Perhaps after making him drop their breakfast, Seth deserved to have it easy for a while. She owed him that much. “I’ve decided. Let’s take it easy and go snorkeling first then sub-dive later.”

Seth threw his head back against the couch and let out a shout of relief. “Thank god!”

“Seth, are you really that scared of the ocean?” Twigs inquired with worry, scooting closer to him.

Feeling her close the distance between them, Seth went stiff. God, he had to keep ignoring her presence, or else he’d end up on top of her sucking her nipples through that small scrap of fabric protecting it from spying eyes. Clearing his throat, he answered her question to distract himself and console her concern. “No, Pixie. I’ve just watched too many Shark Week marathons on the TV, that’s all. I’m fine with snorkeling being the first, it’ll probably help ease me into the real deal for later.”

“Same here. Want to get started now?” Twigs inquired, thrilled to get moving. When Seth gave her a nod, she jumped to her feet. “Then let’s go!”
___________________________________________________________________________________
Twigs and Seth went snorkeling, exploring closer to the surface over reefs nearby and with fishes that swam past their way. They moved about together, side by side with their hands linked together. With their other hand, they signaled to this fish or that underwater creature. They were like two children that had never been in the ocean before, elated to see more and scoping everything that moved. Close by them swam two of the island’s employees to guide them. The other three were on the surface in a boat just in case the worst happened. From the dock stood even more employees watching through binoculars like overprotective mothers keeping their children within their sight at all times.

The couple spent all morning snorkeling right up until lunch time where they surfaced and were steered to the docks by the boat. Upon their arrival was a freshly made lunch on a white tablecloth round table at the very end awaiting them. For lunch, a seafood banquet had been whipped up for the ravenous couple that delved in as soon as they took their seats, surprised by how much snorkeling emptied their stomachs. They were left alone to dine and enjoy one another’s company until they were finished. Hand in hand they walked back to the resort, declining a ride by the staff awaiting to clear their lunch.

Showering outside together, the couple made love for the second time in the outdoor shower. There were no more tropical fishes or critters to redirect Seth’s attention from Twig’s tiny bikini, and with her legs wrapped around him, he pressed his back against the shower wall and used his grip on her to make her bounce on him until he had her screaming his name. And when she thought he was through with her, he lowered her to her wobbly feet, wrapped his arm around her middle and led her back down into the outdoor seating area where they had breakfast just that morning and took her from behind.

Regathering themselves, Seth directed her to two white loungers to the right of the outdoor shower and crammed them together to form a lounge bed. Dropping himself onto it in nothing but a towel, he opened his arms to her. Clad in a towel too, she dropped into his arms and passed out from exhaustion with him following close behind. Under the giant umbrella, the couple napped until they were roused by one of the staff to notify them that the diving team was ready for them and that they’d have to take some lessons in the infinity pool before they could enter the ocean.

Anxious all over again, the couple went to meet the diving team all the while concerned that the procedures would be too difficult for one of them and that the other would have to stay behind. Seth wasn’t gonna ditch his woman because he didn’t want to do this to begin with. Twigs wasn’t gonna leave her man behind, because he was her man, and it was her ‘birthday’ kinda. Luckily for them, they both proved to be fast learners. The staff were highly impressed with them.

Before the couple knew it, they were ready to enter the ocean. They practiced once again, this time in the shallow waters of the ocean. After two hours of zero problems, the diving team began to take them deeper into the waters, all the while guiding them and making sure they remained calm. Any hyperventilating or forms of freaking out would force them to discontinue the activity and return their guests back to the shore. So far, the couple faced the ocean together, hand in hand, composed.

Neither Seth nor Twigs knew how far down they went or how long they'd been there. At one point, they even forgot about the person holding onto their hand. They were both entranced by the deep blue of the ocean and what it had withheld from the surface world. It was only when it was all over and they made their way back to the surface did the couple remember the hand clasped in theirs, and reached for each other with mirrored excitement, proud of the other for pushing past their initial fear and seeing this amazing opportunity through. The staff watched on as the couple praised each other for their bravery.
