"You can just stay home, we can try this school thing next week." Out the corner of my eyes I caught my father's gazed from the review mirror. My attention turned back to the tremendous, lavish school. I couldn't help but to glance at every Michael Kors bags that strutted past the car. I often seen Louis Vuitton in the background, with some Calvin Klein. Just by looking at everyone's bag, I knew I didn't belong. I knew this school wasn't for me. I met his eyes back in the mirror, he was still waiting for an answer. I was suppose to start school four days ago, but my nerves kept me home.

"I rather start today, and just sleep it off over the weekend." I groaned as I began to pull on the handle.

"That's my girl." I heard him mumble under his breath.

I pushed the door open and stepped out of the vehicle. As soon as my two feet took a step onto the sidewalk, I can hear my father pull away.

I regret not waiting. I glanced up to see a blonde hair girl with colors fading in her hair wearing a similar outfit as me.
No designer bag, no long extensions, no fancy clothes. I couldn't help but to slowly smile as I approached her. As I got closer towards her, my smile faded. I have no clue what I'm going to say.

"Hi." I greeted short and simple.

The teen gazed up at me and back down to her cell phone.

"You must be that girl new everyone's dying to meet." She spoke as she scrolled through her phone. I felt my nerves relax.

"Everyone's dying to meet me?" My questioned ended with a grin.

"Don't be flattered. They think you're stuck up already, since you were suppose to start four days ago."

Welcome back nerves, and goodbye grin.

"No. I was just nervous to start, that's all." I defended myself, but she didn't seem to care. I guess I was wrong about her, she's not as chill as I was assuming she would be. Another question came into thought.

"Wait, what makes you think I'm the new girl? I could be a girl who's been going to this school. You just never noticed. Do I look new?" The school bell rings and cuts me off from my ranting. The girl locked her phone and slipped it in her back pocket. Before she walks inside the school she takes once last look at me.

"I know you're new. It's very rare we get new students, nobody wants to come here. So when the word gets out that we got a new student, everybody talks." She stepped away from me, but not far enough for me to grab her wrist.

"Wait. Why does nobody come here? It's a private school, I get it. But it's beautiful."

The look on her face made me regret asking her anything.

"Yeah, it's a beautiful school. Yet, it's filled what ugly people." She pried her wrist away from me. "Miss. Phoebe Neighbors, never touch me again." She hissed a warning towards.

I couldn't help but to swallow hard, for a tiny girl she's very intimidating.
