A Brontide Lullaby

Skin

Coach Whitmore fiddled with the various keys in her hand as she searched for the one that matched the door in front of her. She propped the locker room door open knowing people would be coming and going during the tryouts and wanted to avoid a broken nose that a closed and frantic teens might cause. Leslie tore off the sign up sheet that was crookedly taped onto the door and handed it to Sun whose hands weren't quite full with the other uniforms and papers that Whitmore had handed them.

"The students are to tryout in age groups; seniors first and freshman last. I have meeting to attend concerning who we'll be competing against at cheer competitions so I trust you two have this under control." She handed clipboards to the two girls that had blood red pens tucked under the clip at the top and a list of everyone trying out as well as a rating chart.

She gave a pointed look at Allison knowing that she had taken the spot of Captain more so than Sun whom was silently trying to get a handle on everyone's names. "We've been teaching a stunt and small cheer routine that will we be having each group preform as if they were at a game. We have everything under control, ma'am."

Allison was pleased with her confident reply considering she found Whitmore's disapproval of her recent incident quite embarrassing. Whitmore had been continuing on as if it had never occurred but Allison couldn't help but notice Whitmore directing warning looks at her more often.

The stoic woman was not fond of Kaiden or the rest of the football players viewing them as thick-headed distractions so it wasn't Kaiden's bloodied nose that had upset her. Whitmore agreed that that the cheerleaders had a reputation to keep up but her idea of the cheerleaders rep was much different when compared to Allisons. Whitmore's girls were supposed to be proper and elegant with witty comebacks and clever attack strategies, in her eyes Allison's reaction was caveman behavior. Allison was more focused on wanting the cheerleaders to be top dogs as every movie and TV show depicted them to be.

Whitmore lowered her voice as if anyone could here them through the thick walls, "And don't forget what I talked to you about regarding Victoria." Sun nodded her head enthusiastically which made up for Allison's stiff nod.

A group of giddy freshman shuffled in and immediately began shedding their school uniforms. Allison could tell by how they kept drying their hands and the slight tremble in their arms they were nervous, the image was much like she had been her sophomore year.

Whitmore handed them a bag full of orange ribbons that would be handed out to the accepted girls-- Nike crew socks for the boys. "I'll be taking my leave." And with that she slipped out as another wave of girls flooded in. Their expressions ranged from terrified to excited to just plan queasy looking. God, she did not miss being in their position.

Allison spotted Victoria wander in with a plump freshman immersed in a quiet but friendly conversation with her. She was much more relaxed than a large number of the other girls. Was it because she knew the she was going to get on the team where as it was open ended for everyone else?

Her and Sun had already changed into their official practice uniforms, an orange, black, and white stitched into the whole outfit. She had loathed the orange at first thinking it was tacky but she learned to love her school colors. After being bombarded with the usually colors of navy blue, dark green, or red uniforms at competitions she felt theirs were a bit more unique. The candy orange became some what of a symbol for Breckenridge. When teams caught sight of the orange in their uniforms they're opponents became aware of who they'd be up against.

She refused to wear orange outside of cheerleading though, she still found the color gaudy.

Sun was still sounding out the names printed on the list and it irritated Allison at how much she adored her roommate. "Sun, head on out to set things up. I'll join you once I explain things to everyone." Sun obediently did as she was told and Allison frowned at how docile she was. She worried at times for the Korean girl whom did almost everything someone told her to, perhaps this was one of the reasons Allison had grown so attached to her. She saw a pieces of her past self in Sun and felt the need to protect her from the vicious people who might want to take advantage of her gentle nature.

Sun had told her one time that in Korea her name meant goodness, and well behaved. Allison wondered if her roommate had taken her name so seriously that she had to live up to its meaning-- even if that was the case she was going to an extreme with her obedience.

With wavering confidence Allison decided that she was going to make more of an effort to bring out the dominant side in Sun. Allison knew it was there, she had seen that ferocity the first day of school when the first prank had been pulled. Sun would be used multiple times if she never found her inner fire and the least Allison could do was help her tap into it since Sun had stuck with her for so long.

Eager to escape her soft side Allison took hold of the nearest open locker and slammed the door shut making a harsh bang bounce of the walls and effectively quieting everyone in the room. Some of the girls whom had come in with wide frightened eyes looked like they might have peed themselves while others looked at her with irritation.

Once Allison was confident all eye were on her she flashed a patronizing smile and began stalking around the room like a Queen evaluating her maids. "Now that I have your attention I'll start out by asking how many Seniors will be trying out." She counted five seniors counting Victoria Samwell who refused to make eye contact with her.

"Seniors will be trying out first then juniors, sophomores and we'll finish with the fresh meat." She smiled hungrily at where most of the freshman had gathered causing most of them to look away.

"You'll be performing the stunts I-- Sun and I have taught you as well as the cheer. We will ask different things for everyone so be prepared." Allison had meandered back to the front of the locker room and was sweeping a stern gaze across the girls. "If you do not get on the team you will refrain from pestering Sun and I about our decision, am I understood?"

Everyone collectively nodded, "Seniors, you have five minutes before tryouts begin." Everyone immediately returned to preparing themselves and Allison strutted to the empty field.

Roseman had agreed to cancel todays football warm ups in order for the cheerleaders to have their tryouts. She was pleased he agreed to do so but she could have done without having him supervise the event. She was even less pleased to find some of his players sitting behind him on the bleachers; Kaiden being among them.

Sun ran over to her as she came closer with a remote to the speakers dangling in her hand. "Eberything is ready, but I think the boys might be the problem." She nodded her head towards the group of males pushing each other around and being plain rowdy. Roseman was rows under them seemingly too invested in his paperwork to be bothered by them.

"You and me both Sun." Allison muttered coldly passing Sun and placing her stuff down on the judging table next to her comrades various colored pens. If Kaiden proved to be a problem she would not hesitate to give him a bloody lip to go with his swollen nose.

The first group came out shortly after Allison and Sun had agreed on a song to play. Allison attempted to give Sun a say in the music but considering she kept choosing Korean music and a majority of people at the school spoke English she had to convince Sun on something else. They eventually just decided to play it safe, in their opinion, and play Higher by Just Blaze and Baauer. Most people listened to rap, right?

Though Allison wasn't a huge fan of rap the beat still managed to make her swell with excitement and made her feel dangerous and powerful. That was one of the things liked about rap; it always succeeded in getting her pumped. She resisted the temptation to break out dancing and rounded the table to stand before the straight faced girls, the only one who didn't resemble a robot was Victoria due to her trembling hands and fidgeting feet.

Not so relaxed now, are you?

The returnees were not among this group of seniors because Allison-- and Sun-- had informed them that they would be welcomed back and not to trouble themselves with coming to tryouts. This is how it went every year, senior returnees were always accepted back regardless of whether they were at tryouts or not. Though she had requested three of the boys be there to help her demonstrate stunts and assist the girls trying out.

"You two are small enough to be flyers so I'll have perform something different than these three." Victoria flushed when Allison pointed to her and said she would be trying out to be a flyer. Yes, she was boney and small but she wasn't expecting Allison to actually take her tryout seriously, or even consider her to be something as important as a flyer.

Allison waved the other three aside and took this chance to give Sun some responsibility. Allison would be judging the two flyers and Sun would be observing the other three whom would most likely be doing much simpler stuff compared to Victoria and the girl wearing a smug smile. Glancing down at the information sheet Coach W had given her she learned the other girls name was Amber and her sister was a former flyer for the team as well. That little connection gave her an advantage few other girls would have.

Getting down to business she threw her clipboard down on the table and changed the music to something a tad bit sexier. As the first few notes of some Rihanna song floated out of the speakers the players occupying the bleachers began to holler and whistle when it became apparent the song was much more sultry then she intended it to be.

She was about to turn around and skip the song but caught sight of Roseman's disapproving look as he leaned against the rails separating the bleachers from the field. He was obviously displeased with the song choice which, to be quite frank, angered her. Seeing him hours before with ruffled hair and meeting his girlfriend who had still been a little out of breath and flushed gave her a clear idea of what he had been getting up to in his office-- and yet he still had the audacity to act as if her song choice was inappropriate.

The hypocrisy of it all enraged her, this was a man who would fuck his girlfriend senseless in his office but tell her that her shorts and music were not suitable for school. Her mouth tightened into a straight line as she glared back into his eyes and with a quick tap of her thumb she placed the song on repeat-- which she now saw was called Skin by, as she suspected, Rihanna.

She turned it up at the request of the boys in the bleachers which only deepened the scowl on Rosemans face. He stiffly shook his head and she knew he was most likely going to give her hell at detention but the desire to come out on top and have control of the situation was too big for her to back down. She simply pulled her shirt off, rolling her body more than necessary as she did, to reveal the orange, white, and black sports bra underneath. Ever so lightly she bit her bottom lip as she looked back at Roseman and tossed her shirt aside.

She was queen. She would not allow some hypocrite to have power over her. "Okay ladies, since you'll be showing me your abilities of being a flyer you'll be showing me a teddy bear rollercoaster full up to stretch. I've seen you both pull one off in warm ups so I'm confident you'll be able to do here, but whether or not it'll be good we'll just have to see."

This stunt was a favorite of Allison's and she was going to enjoy watching Victoria struggle. She snorted loudly when she saw the lost look on Victoria's pale face which was a stark contrast to Amber's shit eating grin. Before Victoria even had a chance to ask, Allison was putting up her hair to demonstrate what it was she wanted to see.

"Marcus, Amari, I'm sure you two have some clue of what I'm talking about." Both of the boys stood at her sides while the third was positioned a ways behind her in case he needed to be of assistance.

Niklaus had yet to remove his steely glare from her, the teasing curl to the edge of her mouth as she removed her shirt irritated him in more ways than one. She was provoking him in such a sultry way it made him not just angry at her but angry at himself too. The subtle body roll that she did when removing her shirt showed off the hardened meat beneath her skin and the dips and curves that had many males drooling over her; now her collar bones were no longer hidden by her hair only adding to her sex appeal. Her eyes were soon latched onto his as the boys to either side of her held her hands while lifting her to the same height of their shoulders keeping her in a position close to a split.

The position pulled everyone's attention, including Niklaus' whom was becoming ever more disgruntled, to her powerful yet slender thighs. He hadn't noticed the strength in her legs before but the prominence of the tendons on her inner thigh made it hard for someone to miss; they resembled an eye catching sign directing a person to the apex of her th--

He cleared his throat and concentrated on his currently flared up temper; there was nothing wrong with admiring someone's muscle tone.

She smirked that damn smirk of hers then the boys swung her down and around back to the top managing to grasp one of her feet finishing off the stunt as she easily kicked the other foot up almost parallel to her body. He released a breath he wasn't aware he was holding in when she was stable and balanced. Perhaps he had been wrong all those years ago when he claimed cheerleading wasn't a sport.

Image

"Bro, I bet those guy cheerleaders get loads of ass." His players were marveling as he was but instead of appreciating Allison's abilities they were more interested in her other assets. He finally tore his eyes away from her smirking lips and distracted himself with the conversation behind him.

"That might make up for the fact they're actually on the cheerleading team ha."

"Kaiden, you're such a dumb fuck."

"She's never gonna give you head aga-"

"Just wait boys. Last time we disagreed about something we had the kinkiest makeup sex ever. I'm talkin' whip cream an-"

Ashamed was the prefect word to describe the emotion Niklaus was feeling at hearing the way his players were speaking about Allison. He might have not been on the friendliest of terms with her but if this was the way the boys spoke about a girl they viewed almost as an equal how would they talk about girls they looked down upon?

A part of him wondered if this vexed him because he had been admiring her body too moments before; he was doing the same thing these teenage boys were doing when he was supposed be their matured teacher.

No. He was better than them. He was appreciating her fitness and respected the fact she kept herself healthy; they were drooling over her like a starving dog spotting a juicy steak.

Klaus turned around with his hand gripping tightly to his clipboard hoping it did not break. "I allowed you boys to attend the tryouts thinking you'd be mature men, but it seems I was wrong. I believe you boys should leave before you embarrass yourselves further."

Each boy froze and blushed at the prospect of being overheard. Luckily, they didn't argue and were eager to remove themselves from the awkward situation but not before mumbling their apologies. Niklaus made sure they were out of the field before returning to his seat and surveying the scene before him.

Victoria was now in the position Allison was in moments ago, and though she was shaky and her legs weren't as straight as Allison's had been she managed to keep herself balanced. He wanted to clap for the meek girl and praise her for achieving something the other cheerleaders probably expected her to fail at but decide it best to keep his mouth shut.

He was expecting to see a displeased look on the captain's face but was surprised to see her watching where the boys had exited. After watching the blinking exit sign she proceeded to pull her shirt back on. Not once did she glance at him while dismissing the girls in order judge the next group. He was conflicted on whether to count this as a win on his part or if her surrender was due to something else entirely.

So I might have gone a little overboard on the amount of gifs I put but oh well! So as you can see things will probably start to escalate from here and the story will start to begin. I don't know too much about cheerleading so if any of my readers do and I messed something up please correct me! I tried to make Klaus kinda check her out but I didn't want it to be super obvious so I hope that's how it came across to you and instead of him looking at her body and being like 'Hot damn!' I didn't want him to realize what he was doing either.

I've gotten three comments from that last chapter, so many subscribers and recommendations that was one of the best Christmas presents I got(as cheesy as it sounds it just made me that happy)! So I want to hear what everyone got for Christmas(If anyone has Animal Crossing comment so we can visit each others towns!)? How do you feel about the soft side Allison you saw briefly? Thoughts on Kaiden? Any predications for Victoria?

Before I go I want your thoughts on something. I've really been wanting to start another story lately but I want to know if you guys think I should or not. It's be either a fan fiction based off Supernatural or Assassin's Creed: Unity? Thoughts? Preferences? Advice?
