Status: Jet Li, Donnie Yen, Thai Cartel, Strippers--can't get any better than that, right?

Captain Reckless || Sergent Caution

Donnie tucked the phone receiver between his shoulder and his ear, eyes flickering briefly outside the glass case that held him. "That's not part of our job, Jet." His voice was calm, even, despite the unease that grew in his gut.

Never had his partner been emotionally compromised; Jet was the one that kept the cool head, left his emotions at home, worked as a robot. This whole focus on one person when they had the job of bringing down the entire Golden Zhi was ridiculous and completely out of Jet's character.

"I know," came Jet's equally steady reply. "But you didn't see her eyes. She's just pleading--"

"Jet, don't be an idiot!"

"How many times have you let your temper get in the way of your job? How many suspects have you brutalized, even killed? I think its my time to do something reckless. Don't look for me."

The line went dead. Donnie slammed the receiver back, a growl passing his clenched teeth.
