Let Love Bleed Red

Chapter 27

After the last song, Sam, Jason, Jeremy and I took our bow. I felt like a weight had just been lifted off my shoulders. We did it, the first show. The lights went down and we hurried off backstage to let the crew start setting up for Sleeping With Sirens.

"That was awesome!" I said. Sam smiled, hugging me tight.
"I can't believe that just happened!" I laughed, hugging him back. But he was right. This was what we only dreamed about, and it was happening.
"Nice move bringing Kellin up, how'd you get him to do that?" Jeremy asked, giving me a smirk. I shrugged.
"I saw he was watching and I just went for it. I wasn't exactly positive he'd even come out." Jeremy laughed, giving me a high five.
"What'd he say after the song?" He asked.
"He.. said he wanted to talk." Jeremy sighed.
"Oh Kira, he's so in love with you."
"Shut up he is not." But I could feel my cheeks burning. I wondered what he wanted to talk about.
"You should go find him." He said winking at me, giving me a gentle nudge. I rolled my eyes, shoving him back but made my way backstage.

There was no sign of Kellin until I found myself back at his dressing room. I peeked in to see him sitting on the couch, looking through his phone. I knocked.
"You asked to see me?" I laughed, walking in. He smirked, looking up at me.
"Yeah.." He sighed, tossing his phone to the side.
"So how was the rest of your set?" He asked. I went over and hopped back up onto the counter, kicking my legs back and forth. I avoided his eyes.
"It was great." I said. He was quiet for a minute.
"So.. What did you want to talk about?" I asked, looking over at him. He sighed, running his fingers through his hair, making his way over to me. I could feel my heart beat faster. He stared at me for a minute, just smiling. I couldn't help but smile back.
"What?" I asked. He bit his lip, gently pushing my hair out of my face, then taking my hand in his.

"Did.. Did you feel anything.. out there? I.. I don't know, I mean, I just.. singing with you like that I.." He stopped himself, now looking down at our hands. I bit my lip, gently tilting his chin back up, his eyes meeting mine again.
"Yeah." I said softly. "I did."
He smiled, and I could see he was blushing now. I reached out for his shirt, gently pulling him in closer. He leaned in, his lips almost touching mine; always waiting for me to make the final call. Before I leaned in...

"Kira, I just.. I want you to know this.. This isn't a normal thing. I'm never the one with a girl on tour. I'm.. never the one with a girl in general. They say these things about me but.. it's not true. I.. I really like you, Kira. And I just-"
I cut him off pulling him into a passionate kiss. It didn't take him long to move his hands to my waist, pulling me up against him. I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him in closer, kissing him harder. I felt his hands move up my waist, sliding up my shirt, up to my chest. I'm sure he could feel my heart pounding. His kisses moved from my lips to my neck, where they became harder, his grip becoming tighter, pulling me closer against him to the point where I could feel his every move.

"I want you.." I sighed. That had slipped out. He moved away, now staring back at me. He stared, as if questioning if I really meant it. I nodded. He bit his lip, moving away to shut and lock the door. Making his way back, I grabbed his shirt pulling him back against me, kissing him harder. What had come over me? What was I doing? He backed away.
"I.. I don't want it to be like this." He said. I stared back, confused. He sighed.
"You want me now but you'll reject me later."
"That's not true.." I said. Then again, I couldn't be so sure.
"I'm gonna hate myself for this but.. I.. I just want to take you out, Kira. And if you still want me then.." He giggled "then I'm all yours."

I sighed, staring back at him, loosening my grip on his shirt but not yet letting go. I couldn't help but smile.
"Why me?" I asked. He shrugged, smiling back.
"I'm not entirely sure yet. But I'm hoping to find out." He leaned in, gently kissing me again. Then there was a knock at the door. He sighed, but went over and answered it.
"I don't mean to interrupt anything." Jack said, peeking over at me. "But we're going on soon, Kell." Kellin sighed, and leaned on the door frame.
"Alright I'll be right out, just give us a minute." Jack smirked, and made his way back down the hall. Kellin turned, shutting the door behind him and made his way back over to me. He gently took my hands and helped me down off the counter.

"So are you gonna come watch us now?" He asked, intertwining our fingers. I smiled, leaning my forehead against his.
"I'll be there the whole time." I said. He flashed a toothy smile before kissing my forehead and taking my hand, leading me to the stage.
