Worlds Apart

Seth was getting ready to pull up to the red carpet of his new movie's premiere. He could see from the corner of his eyes that Aishwarya was starting to get really nervous about stepping out of the car with their engagement ring. The ring was so big that it would be impossible for fans and the media to miss it. It's been two days later from their engagement party and not small article in the magazines or newspapers had any idea that they were planning on getting married. Aishwarya and Seth were relieved and grateful for their loved ones, but tonight was the night they would tell the whole world about their love?

Will they be accepted?

Seth couldn't imagine why they wouldn't. As they pulled up to the carpet, Seth rolled down his window a little bit to ask their permission for a few more seconds before opening the doors for them. They consented. Seth turned to Aishwarya.

"Listen honey, if you don't want to do this now, you can put the ring in your purse and I'll drop you off first." Seth assured her, placing a hand over her shaky one with the diamond ring.

Aishwarya's eyes widened, "You don't want to tell them anymore?"

"No, it's not that. You're incredibly nervous, and I just want to give you your last shot of changing your mind before you can't. When we step out there together, everyone will know. Do you want that?" Seth asked her, p[patiently waiting. Aishwarya looked down at his hand on top of hers. Tonight could be the toughest night of her life. She didn't know what to expect. Seth has been nothing but patient and considerate to her, and maybe it's about time she stopped hiding and embrace what other people may not be able to accept. What does it matter what they think? She loved him and he made her happy, and now she wants to make him happy.

Aishwarya turned her eyes to him, before giving him a gorgeous smile. "I'm ready for anything as long as you are by my side."
Seth smiled, kissed her hand before opening his door himself, squinting his eyes from the flashes going off like fireworks. The media started going crazy.

"Mr. Macfarlane, over here!"

"Seth, to your left!"

Seth walked around his jaguar, giving them a small wave and his signature before opening Aishwarya door. Aishwarya took a deep breath before taking his hand and stepping out of their car, waving to the very few flashing lights for her. The lack of picture taking wasn't because she wasn't popular or known. It was because no one expect this and even though these paparazzi are being paid to take their pictures, they couldn't help but be shock by this combination. Just like that, the cameras came back flashing even more than before. All the paparazzi's were pushing their way to the front so they could get a delicious photo for the front covers of the magazines and newspapers.

Since when was Seth Macfarlane, the billion dollar man, dating the VS model, Aishwarya Martinez?

Aishwarya and Seth held each other by their waists as they stood for photos, waving and smiling. They could hear screams of questions from all around them.

"Seth Macfarlane, how long have you to been dating?"

Dating? They'll see the ring soon enough. Aishwarya smiled before presenting her ring to the world by placing her hand on his chest, leaning closely to him.

In seconds all you could see were the flashing camera and the guard rail separating the famous from the not-so-famous began to fall over and all the paparazzi came tumbling over. Seth and Aishwarya were immediately ushered to a safer place in the theaters where Seth's new movie was going to play. As the door closed, Seth couldn't help but let out a laugh. Aishwarya gave him a 'what are you laughing about' look.

"Did you see how crazy they were acting? I'm so glad they didn't catch us, but that was just so funny to me. They went insane!"

Aishwarya couldn't help but laugh with him. Seth Macfarlane had an intoxicating smile and a irresistable laugh.
