Rain is stuck in a small town, desperate to get out. Kennedy is a mysterious new boy with an interesting secret.
A triplet to the end, Kennedy moves to Canada with his brothers Kadence and Kameron, who have blonde hair. Kennedy has black. This particular fact only seems to raise Rain's suspicions even more. Despite the odd match, they befriend one another, but there's something else haunting Rain. When she skips town in an attempt to get away from a bad relationship, Kennedy comes along. They begin new lives together, but when Kennedy reveals a dark (and possibly deadly) secret, Rain begins to realize she just got the adventure she always wanted.
