Midnight

End of the day.

The next morning Londyn woke up to her phone ringing. She groaned as she squinted her eyes, her hand hitting the nightstand as she tried to find the cell phone.

“Hello?” She mumbled out and Sophia’s voice filled her home, “You are alive I see.”

“Barely. What time is it?”

“11.”

“What?!” She groaned not believing she slept that late. She then forced herself to sit up, the phone still to her ear. She looked over at where Harry had fallen asleep only to see the bed made beside her. She couldn't help the frown that immediately hit her lips.

“Are you listening to me?!”

“Huh? Sorry I'm half asleep! What did you say?”

“I said, Harry and the guys had a meeting this morning and apparently he forgot so that's why he rushed out. He asked me to call you when he arrived at Liam’s but I forgot so…”

Londyn chuckled, “Ok.” She got out although she did feel a bit relieved of course then she immediately wanted to hit herself for feeling that way. Why she allowed him to have that much control over her feelings she would never know.

“Anyways apparently they had that and then who knows what so wanna hang?”

“Sure, um let me get ready and I'll just meet you at your place?”

“Sure! See you then.”

Londyn hung up with Sophia and climbed from the bed. She wasn't sure what was going on with Harry but she felt a bit better about it after last night. Plus, it didn't hurt that him being with her last night made her actually sleep well, which she hadn't in a long time.

Londyn quickly threw herself together. She thought it was in good timing but by the time she reached Sophia’s, the girl had grew overly impatient.

“Finally!” Sophia responded as soon as she opened the door.

“Chill.” Londyn replied with a chuckle. She was use to Sophia by now

“I'm starving and in need of alcohol.”

“It's noon…”

“Exactly, time for drinks.”

Londyn laughed as Sophia locked the door and pulled on her jacket as she walked down the sidewalk.

“Ok, so where to?”

“Just follow me.” She replied as she stepped in front of Londyn.

The pair walked for about ten minutes until they reached a restaurant that she hadn't even seen before.

“This is the best kept secret. They have the best wine.”

“Ah you and your secrets.” Londyn joked and Sophia laughed as they stepped into the quiet place.

“So…” Sophia began once they were seated.

“What?”

“You and Harry left last night….”

“Yeah. Nothing happened if that's what you are thinking.” She replied as she unfolded the napkin in front of her.

“Bummer.”

Londyn laughed as the waiter walked over. The pair ordered and the conversation lightened up which Londyn was thankful for. She didn't want to spend the whole afternoon talking about Harry.

“But seriously, when the guys go on tour for this album, we should take a trip somewhere! A beach sounds nice.”

Londyn chuckled, “That sounds amazing.”

“Amazing because it'll be without them.” Sophia stated causing them to laugh.

Londyn’s phone vibrated on the table and she looked down only to see Louis’ name flashing on the screen.

“Speak of the devil, here is one now.”

Sophia chuckled? Picking up her wine glass as Londyn answered, “Hello my love.”

“Hey so, um, don't freak, I mean…”

“Louis, what is it?” She asked immediately finding her nerves. Nothing good ever started with such a sentence.

“We're at the hospital.”

“What? Why?”

“Well we were riding four wheelers at our friends place and Harry apparently can't drive, and he…”

“Is he ok?” She asked cutting him off.

“I mean I think…”

“You think?!”

“Well they took him back to do test so I don't know!”

Londyn rolled her eyes as Sophia looked at her in confusion.

“I'll be there soon.” She replied hanging up on the boy and immediately waving over their waiter for the check.

“What happened?”

“I don't know! Louis said Harry is in the hospital because they are stupid.” She said as she signed the credit card slip before thanking the waiter.

Sophia quickly gathered up her coat before following Londyn out the door.

“Is he ok?”

“Louis just said he guessed. What the hell does that mean?!”

“Calm down. I'm sure he's ok. I'm texting Liam right now.” Sophia asked as Londyn hailed a taxi. The ride to the hospital seemed to take forever and Londyn was a nervous wreck by the time she got there. Sure, her and Harry weren't on the best of terms but she still cared about him. More than he even knew.

“Liam said he's in room 204, but the guys ran to the cafeteria. You gonna go to the room?” Sophia asked as soon as they entered. Londyn made a face, the smell of the hospital making her uneasy.

“Yeah.” She finally got out.

“Want me to come with you?”

“No it's ok, I'll see you in a bit.”

“Ok.” Sophia replied as she patted the girl's shoulder before she left to find Liam.

Londyn breathed in as she pressed the button for the elevator. She knew she wouldn't feel better until she saw Harry and knew for sure that he was ok.

Once she reached his room, she knocked before slowly opening the door. Relief immediately filled her body once her eyes met his and a grin hit his lips.

“Hey.” He spoke softly and before she knew what was even happening she was crying as she walked over to him.

“Lon, what's wrong?” He asked as she sat on the edge of the bed and placed her arms around him, her face hitting his shoulder. She wasn't sure why she was crying, she didn't know if it was from knowing he was ok or what, but she couldn't seem to stop it from happening.

“I'm ok. Just some stitches and a few bruises. I'm ok.” He whispered his arms tightening around her. Maybe it was a bit twisted, but in that moment he knew he couldn't possibly be more in love with her than he was.

She raised up to look at him, and he smiled as he brought his hand to her cheek. His left eye was starting to bruise and above his eyebrow was a row of stitches but otherwise, he seemed to be in place and that made her feel a little better.

“Louis scared the shut out of me.” She managed to get out.

Harry rolled his eyes, “I'm sorry. He's stupid.”

She nodded and wiped the tears from her cheeks.

“Didn't know you cared about me this much.”

It was Londyn’s turn to roll her eyes, “Oh whatever.” She mumbled, about to move from the bed only to have him grab her arm.

Her eyes met his and before he could speak the door to the room opened.

“Oh you're up.” Liam stated and Harry’s eyes finally moved from her gaze, “Yeah, can someone find a nurse or something so I can go?” He asked and Niall offered to find someone.

“You ok?” Sophia asked and he nodded, “Yeah just a little banged up. No big deal. Sorry Louis made you guys think I was dying.”

“I did not!”

“You did.” Sophia responded and Louis groaned.

“So what happened?” Sophia asked and Liam spoke up, “Harry’s dumbass doesn't know how to drive. He hit the brakes a little too hard...and flew over the steering wheel.”

Londyn chuckled and Harry gave her hand a squeeze.

“Well, ya know, I never do the right thing.”

The others laughed right as Niall returned with a woman in tow, “Well Harry, you are good to go. Everything came back normal you'll probably just be In a bit of pain for a couple of days but we will give you some medication for that. Next time wear a helmet, aye?”

Londyn chuckled as Harry gave the woman a thumbs up, “Hear ya loud and clear.”

After waiting around for a prescription the group was able to leave. After saying goodbye to Louis and Niall, the pair got a ride home from Liam and Sophia.

“Take care of our mate, yeah?” Liam joked to the girl as they arrived at their building.

“I guess I'll try.”

Liam chuckled and said goodbye as the two climbed from the car.

“I basically already feel like I got hit by a truck.” Harry grumbled as they waited on the elevator.

“You'll feel better once you get some sleep.”

“You'll stay with me, right?” He asked as the doors finally opened.

“If you want me to.”

“Of course I want you to. I always want you to.” He got out as he leaned against the wall, watching the numbers on the elevator go up.

The elevator finally stopped on his floor and she grabbed his hand and walked him to the door, letting herself in with his keys.

“I think whatever they gave me is starting to win.” He mumbled and she couldn't help but laugh as she locked up behind them.

“Let's get you to bed.”

He nodded not arguing as she led him to his bedroom. He sat on the edge of the bed and kicked off his shoes, the thought of taking off anything else seemed too much work.

“You need to change. You have blood everywhere.” She stated taking off her coat and shoes.

He groaned as he slowly pulled off his shirt and she couldn't help but laugh at the effort it took him to take off his jeans.

“Shut up.” He mumbled as he threw his jeans to the floor and pulled off his socks leaving him in just his underwear.

“I'm feeling a bit loopy.” He added as he stumbled trying to stand up to fix the blanket on the bed.

Londyn laughed as she helped him and he glared at her once he laid down.

“You're suppose to be taking care of me not laughing at me.”

She grinned as she sat beside him. Harry gently placed his hand around hers, his thumb tracing the back of her hand, “You're staying, right?”

“Yeah.” She managed to get out and he sighed as he closed his eyes.

“I don't deserve you caring for me like you do. I'm beyond shitty to you. Who leaves like I did and doesn't tell you? You shouldn't have forgiven me. I wouldn't have.” He whispered out.

“That isn't true, Harry.”

“Yes it is.” He got out finally opening his eyes again, “I don't think this was ever made clear though, there was never another girl, Lon. That girl in that picture was just a girl who has a few mutual friends and we happened to see each other out and about. It was nothing more than that. I just want to really stress that to you. You're the only girl in my life and although I may not be the best person; I wouldn't do that to you. You mean a lot to me and I, well I guess it looks like I want to intentionally hurt you because I left but that isn't the case, love. It just isn't. It's just hard to explain. I'm sorry. I just don't know how to express things in the correct manner and it's really frustrating sometimes.”

“It's ok, I understand. Just try to get some sleep.” She whispered out as she brushed away his hair from his face although her heart was pounding in her chest. Maybe he didn't know how to say what he wanted but the way he made everything sound so sincere was the trouble. That's what caused her heart to race and her feelings for him to shift in a direction they shouldn't be. He had a way with words and yet he thought he didn't. It really would be amusing for her if she wasn't on the receiving end of it, but here she was like so many girls before her, under the spell of Harry Styles and the way things were going she wasn't sure if she would ever find her way out.

I am horrible. I am aware. :(

I have zero excuse besides I just haven't had time to write or the creativity lately. Which does suck, I won't lie.

But I hate having something unfinished and although it may take me a while, It will get done! I swear!

Besides that.
Things are about to change between Harry and Londyn. ;) Good or maybe bad, but either way things shall change!

Thanks to anyone who even reads this chapter. I don't blame you if you don't since its been forever since an update. lol < 3
