A Special Kind of Love

By the time school is over I am so fucking tired, normally I would sleep during class but you can't do that during exams and I was also getting distracted by the twins kicking so yeah. Not exactly a good day.

"Hey Kellin, want me to wait with you until Vic gets here?" Kevin asks and I suddenly remember something.

"You need to drive me home." I say and he sighs.

"I can drive you but not to your apartment, I have to go straight to the airport to pick up Kate and Cope." Kevin says and my eyes grow wide. "Fuck I thought they were coming back on Thursday. " I say hitting myself in the head, leave it to me to forget when my sister and niece were coming home.

"So does that mean you want to come?" He asks and I nod happily. "Yeah defiantly, I will just have to text Vic and ask him to pick us up at mom's." I say as j go about scrolling through my phone to find Vic's contact.

Now being the person I am, I fell asleep on the way to the airport because I couldn't sleep during school. I feel Kevin shake my shoulder and I let out a yawn before attempting to stretch out my back.

"Plane land yet?" I ask and he nods. "Yeah Kate just texted and said she was at luggage, we should go wait for them." He says and I nod before slowly getting out of the car.

Kevin and I stand in the waiting area for Kate and Cope but we don't see them so after ten minutes I decide to sit down because my feet kill.

"Hey Kells, I'm going outside to call Kate. You going to be okay if I leave you here?" He asks and I nod, waving him off before pulling my phone and ear buds from my pocket and turn on some Green Day to try and drown out the noisy airport.

When 'Holiday/Boulevard of Broken Dreams' fades out I feel someone tap on my leg and turn to see a young girl of three or four standing there with tears streaming down her face. I quickly take my ear buds out and give her a concerned smile.

"Hi sweetie, do you need help with something?" I ask, surprised the girl even came over here.

"I can't find my mommy." She says quietly before more tears fall down her cheeks and I guess maternal instincts kick in or something because I really feel like I should watch over her until someone comes looking for her or until Kevin gets back, where the fuck is he anyway?

"Okay sweetie how about you sit here until your mommy comes around, but if my brother gets back before we find her then he will help us look, alright?" I say softly and she nods before climbing into the seat next to me and slipping her small hand into mine. I don't question it because the poor girl is probably terrified so I decide to talk with her to calm her down.

"Its going to be okay sweetie, we will find your mommy, but if you are here visiting family maybe you should tell me about them, just so I can look out for them." I say and she nods.

"We awr hewe to visit mommies famiwy. " she say quietly while looking around. "My uncles awe supposed to find us." She says and I figure that's a good place to start.

"Did your mommy tell you what your unc-" "Copeland I found you." I heard a woman yell before coming over and picking up the little girl who was crying tears of joy as she wrapped her arms around her mom's neck.

"I swear I can never- Kellin it's you, what the heck happened?" The person said and upon closer examination I realized that this was my older sister Katelynne.

"Oh my god Kate I missed you so much." I say before hugging her as tight as I can when I hear Kevin call our names.

We all then decide to head to mom's so Kate, Cope, and I can rest. Yes me I'm pregnant with twins stop judging me. When we get in the car Kate limbs in back with Cope on her lap and I end up falling asleep in the front.
