Sage crosses to Badok, a territory off of the map and out of Polaris’ reach. She finds a secret colony of war ready people called Obliques and she discovers that she is one of them.
Hiding away her past with Prance, she starts a new life and trains to fight in the upcoming war. The Outliers and Obliques want to be free from the Cygnus and overthrow the King of Polaris. Though this wasn't how Sage planned to find her freedom, she's appointed leader and has no choice but to fight.
She’s somehow trapped again. The only one that understands her and can really help her is another secret rebel like her.
