1. something that is to happen or has happened to a particular person or thing; lot or future.
2. the predetermined, usually inevitable or irresistible, course of events.
Believe what you want, say that you chose your own fate, or that you’re not destined to do certain things. Tell yourself that there is no greater power working to push you in the direction you’re supposed to go in. Or that you can break the supposed destiny you were given. I however believe that each of us has a destiny. It might not be something huge like being the chosen one, or being destined to becoming Minister or Magic or anything, maybe it’s something simpler like being destined to be great at quidditch and go on to play in the world cup, or being destined to fall in love while you’re still sixteen. But we all have one.
