In a time when an entire culture and way of life is about to be obliterated, the clan MacDonald is on a sinking ship. With the Campbell' s politically cutting them off from assistance, the MacKinnon's are only providing daughters and empty promises of allegiance, MacLeod's are losing sight of the borders set up by the MacDonald's and England is roaring its ugly head closer to the battle of Culloden. It wasn't until a twenty-first century woman was found on the border between the MacLeod's and the MacDonald's land; that the clan didn't feel like they walking in mud to an inevitable end.
