The next day I woke up early, I couldn't sleep.

Her words.

They were in my dreams.

I quickly got up and dressed but sat on my bed thinking.

I was nothing, had nothing to show like my dad or the band.

I was holding them back.

There was a knock on my door.

"Come in." I called

It was Code, with a smile. He was always smiling. I wish I could. But his smile fell when he saw my face.

I gave him a confused look. He smiled making me smile.

"There is the Zaylor I know!"

I laughed. "You have only known me for a little while."

"Let's fix that!" He said jumping up

I laughed. He could always make me laugh.

"Now Zaylor don't you listen to a word they said last night. We will fight for you because you are our family." Said Code

"If we are a family you must be the jokester that makes us laugh." I said

"Yep and you arent laughing!" He said jumping on my bed tickling me And laugh I did. I laughed till I couldn't breath. Code, he made me forget the hurt by giving me laughter.
