“Do you want to tell me what that was all about?” Alexander asked as he struggled to keep pace with Raknah who was now striding away from the river.
“No…” was all she said, her eyes were locked ahead of her, Alexanders mind was racing with questions that he desperately seemed to be answered, but he realised that now was not the perfect time to be pressing her.
The two continued in silence all the while he couldn’t stop notching the way Raknah seemed far away like she was lost in her thoughts.
The royal realised that Danju had stirred emotions inside her, emotions and thoughts that she had obviously kept away for a while. Perhaps tonight he could ask her and she may consider opening up to him. Though he highly doubted it.
