Alexander wasn’t able to hear the rest before he had been hit over the head with something hard and been swallowed into darkness. Raknah fought and wrestled with the men that were trying to bind her wrists, loud cries and screams broke from her lips but nothing brought the Prince around.

The two had been caught by surprise, the woman had no way of knowing, no way of saving the royal and no way of stopping what was happening, she wasn’t quick enough to get to her weapon before it had been snatched from around her waist.

“Raknah… still as beautiful as I remember,” a deep masculine voice growled into her ear as she was overpowered by the strength of the men. The woman knew that voice, knew it all too well.

“Takah,” she couldn’t help the fear that crept into her voice.
