The two wandered through the forest, the sun baring down on them. Alexander was sweating all over, the cloth of his royal clothes sticking to his body. Turning his head, he looked at Raknah, she was much the same yet she wore a thick fur coat and he didn’t know why. Suddenly the sound of running water caused him to stop.
“Do you hear that?” the sound was like music to his ears, he was parched and hot. Fresh clean water would be perfect now. “We must keep moving,” was all the woman said trying to adjust her furs. The Prince looked at her scoffing before shaking his head and cutting across the woman heading toward the sound of running water. It was the one chance for a drink and possible wash. Which he was in dire need of.
“Your Highness!” her voice echoed behind him as he moved forward.
