'Hey.' Alex smiles, sitting down next to Jack, who ignores him. 'Oh for fuck sake Jack. You're a dickhead. I feel really shit today, can you not just talk to me?' He sighs,
'Sorry, you wanna go for a walk?' Jack asks,
'Do you mind?' Alex whispers,
'Of course not. Come on.' Jack smiles and stands up, grabbing Alex's hand.
'Lex wait.' Jack mutters, stopping suddenly, grabbing onto Alex's hand,
'Whats wrong?' The elder asks and Jack leans against the wall of the school,
'Come here.' The raven haired boy whispers and Alex steps forward,
'I'm so sorry.' Jack says softly, pulling Alex into his embrace,
'Hey, it's okay.' Alex whispers,
'No Alex, it's not okay. I've been fucking horrible to you and I feel so bad.' Jack sighs,
'Tell me why then. Tell me what I've done to make you hate me.' Alex sighs, pulling back and resting his hands on Jack's hips,
'I don't hate you. It's actually the complete opposite. Since I first saw you, I've had a crush on you.' Jack whispers, a blush colouring his cheeks,
'You should have told me. I feel the same.' Alex whispers,
'Don't fuck with me.' Jack sighs,
'I'm not. I wouldn't.' The elder chuckles, smiling softly at Jack, who gives Alex a small smile before leaning in and pressing his lips to the brunet boys.
They kiss for a minute or so before the unthinkable happens.
Jack pulls Alex's hips against his and grinds gently.
Alex wouldn't mind except he feels something warm seep from his lower half.
So that's why he felt shit this morning.
'No.' He mutters, pulling away,
'Shit, I'm sorry.' Jack whispers, stroking the elders cheek apologetically,
'No, no, it wasn't you... I just, um, I need to go. I forgot I had to talk to Rian about something.' Alex sighs,
'Oh, okay. Come on.' Jack smiles, taking Alex's hand and kissing his cheek.
'Rian, can I talk to you in private please?' Alex whispers into his friends ear, who nods and stands up, following Alex until they're outside of the school,
'What's up?' Rian asks,
'I need you to do me a favour... Because I trust you, okay? This is like the most traumatic thing I could be doing right now so if you laugh at me, I'll probably hate you forever... But... I need you to get Cass to give me a tampon.' Alex says in a rush,
'What?' Rian whispers,
'I need a tampon Ri.' Alex mutters,
'Alex, what's going on?' Rian asks,
'Ri, please don't make me explain. I just really need a tampon.' Alex begs, tears filling his eyes,
'I'm gonna ring Cass, okay?' Rian whispers and pulls his phone out of his pocket, 'Hey babe, where are you? Do you think you could leave and come meet me and Lex round the side of school? Like, right now... Is that okay? Okay, thank you so much babe.' He says before hanging up,
'She's on her way, okay? But I need you to talk to me. Why do you need a tampon Alex?' Rian whispers,
'Because my periods early.' Alex mumbles, 'Don't hit me. Don't hurt me.' He adds, his voice shaking,
'Alex, are you a girl?' Rian whispers and his friend nods, flinching when Rian moves, 'Hey, I'm not gonna hurt you. Come here.' He sighs and hugs Alex tightly, 'Its okay. I'm so proud of you for being so brave. I'll never judge you, okay? I love you. We all love you. Is that why you're here? Did something bad happen in Baltimore?' Rian whispers and Alex nods sadly, 'I'm so sorry Lex.' Rian sighs,
'Don't tell anyone other than Cass.' Alex begs and the younger boy nods,
'Of course I won't. It's okay, you hear me? I am so fucking proud of you, and I'm gonna support you. You're the nicest, sweetest guy I've ever met. I don't care if you're really a girl. You're my brother.' Rian whispers,
'Thank you so much.' Alex whispers,
'Whats going on? Lex are you okay?' Cassadee asks, worry written across her face, Rian steps away from Alex and opens the bag that is hanging against Cassadees hip, 'Ri, what are you doing?' She asks, reaching out and stroking Alex's cheek, Rian doesn't respond and pulls out two tampons, pressing them into Alex's hand, 'Guys, what is going on?! Why is Alex crying and why are you giving him tampons?' Cassadee snaps,
'Sshh, Cass. Calm down. Alex is transgender.' Rian whispers,
'Oh my gosh Alex.' She whispers, pulling away from Rian so she can hug Alex tightly,
'I love you. Do you need anything? Ibuprofen? Anything?' She whispers and Alex smiles,
'No, I'm alright. Thank you though. Thank you both so fucking much. Th-The last time people found out, I-I ended up getting beaten until I passed out.' Alex explains quietly and a sob escapes Cassadee's lips as she clings onto Alex tightly, 'Hey, hey, it's okay.' He chuckles, rubbing her back gently,
'We love you Alex.' She whispers,
'I know. I love you too.' He smiles, kissing her hair softly.

Alex sighs as he lies back against his pillows, rubbing his stomach,
