Status: new original fiction.
Genome Project.
The Genome Project, it was something that was created in order to make a new species. A better race of sorts, they would pick a hand full of creatures and slice their genes. They have done it already to thousands upon thousands of creatures.
It wasn't until I turned fifteen that I was taken from my home and experimented on, they named me as Genome project 12AG of the human race. But my actual name is Ariel shards.
They say with each successful Genome Project, that project has a counter part. Something that would be called a mate, but it was very rare that they would find each other.
But in my years as a project, I haven't found him yet.
But maybe my luck will change.
