Elya is the daughter of notorious Death Eater, Nicolai Vavilov. Having been raised by her father and older brother, the Dark Arts are nothing new to her. During the futile search for the vanquished Dark Lord, Elya finds that following her bloodline into battle and following her heart are two very different things.
Haunted by her past as well as her future, Elya finds that the only person she can turn to is one Severus Snape—long time family friend and Hogwarts' Potions Master. However, as the year goes on, the professor and student boundary is toed dangerously and one way or another, the consequences of crossing it could be disastrous for the both of them.
