Homeward Bound
Anna
Anna lets out a sigh of relief. She is silent for a moment, at a loss for words. He finally answered.
“Anna?” Henry asks sounding agitated.
“Well don’t you seem happy to hear from me.” She states sarcastically.
“Not now Anna. I don’t have the time for this.” Henry is lying through his teeth. He has all the time in the world.
“If not now, when? This could be the last time I hear from you for all I know. It’s not as if you ever call.” Her voice cracks. It is hard for her to stay composed.
It is not long for the Donovan’s to settle into their usual routine. Anna is stressed about everything. Henry is not.
There is one thing that I should tell you about the Donovan’s if you haven’t already figured it out. Anna and Henry are the complete opposites of each other. If Anna isn’t complaining about Henry’s carelessness, Henry is complaining about Anna’s meticulous nature.
Why are they together, you ask?
