This Is Torture

I was sitting on the couch of our bus with Tarra and Kara when Lola came on the bus from saying good-bye to Trace.

I was trying my hardest not to cry. It felt like there was an empty black hole where my heart had been.

"Cheerio are you crying?" Lola asked walking over and sitting next to me.

"I am going to miss William so much" I choked out.

"Have you said good-bye yet?" Kara asked pulling me into a hug.

"Y-Yes yesterday"

"The Academy Is... hasn't left yet" Tarra said half pushing off the couch "Go see him one more time."

I wanted nothing more than to see William one last time but I got the feeling it would only make things that much harder for me.

Lies are lies in every bodies eyes and I don't believe you

I pulled out my cell phone and looked at the Caller ID.

William

I quickly answered it.

"Hello?"

"Nicole! Have you guys left yet?"

"No"

"Come over to my bus real quick"

"Why?" I asked confused.

"You left something really important here"

"What?"

"Come and find out"

"Okay. Be right there"

I hung up and placed the phone back in my pocket.

"Who was it?"

"William. He says I forgot something on his bus"

I quickly ran off my bus and toward The Academy is...'s.

William was standing there waiting for me.

I ran into his arms and he pulled me into a tight hug.

"I'm going to miss you" I said softly.

"I'm going to miss you too"

"What did I forget?" I asked curiously.

William pulled out his black leather jacket from behind his back and handed it to me.

"William this is your favorite jacket" I said confused.

"And I told you I wanted you to keep it until you didn't want it anymore, same goes with my heart even if we aren't together anymore" he said smiling softly.

"I love you" I said looking into his eyes.

He leaned down and kissed me softly. "I love you too"

I gave him one more hug before walking back to my own bus, now wearing William's jacket.

"What did you forget?" Lola asked as I walked on the bus.

"William's jacket" I said smiling softly. "He said I could keep it until I didn't want his heart anymore, even if we aren't together anymore"

"Awh. Cheerio" Lola said hugging me again. "You'll see him again I promise"

"Yeah" I said sadly "Does anyone have anything to drink?"

"We have water" Tarra said shrugging.

I shook my head "Water is far from what I meant"

The three of them gave me a funny look as I felt the bus start to move and I could feel my heart shatter as the thought of never seeing William again crossed my mind.

I really need something to drink
